That's not in the belief system of any religion or denomination I've ever heard of. I think he was just a Whako!

I'm not Mormon -- or even especially religious -- but I enjoy reading the history of religions. There's nothing in Mormon teachings that says Cain had sex with monkeys, or other primates other than humans.
There *is* a spin on the story of Cain that some racists use to justify their belief in the superiority of whites over blacks.
The Bible says that when God evicted Cain from Eden, Cain was afraid that he would be killed. In his mercy, God put a mark on Cain, so others would know they should spare Cain's life.
The kind of mark God used isn't specified, which has led to all sorts of speculation. The racist theory is that God turned Cain's skin dark, and that all his descendants shared that trait. According to the theory, dark-skinned people carry "the mark of Cain," are descended from the world's first murderer, and so are impure, unworthy, and so on.
Other racist theories claim that black people are descended from monkeys, while the whites are descended from, well, not monkeys. (I don't know what these racists believe all the other non-whites in the world are descended from.)
One sidelight to all this:
Adam and Eve had four children, two boys and two girls. Since God had ordered Adam and Eve to "be fruitful and multiply," Adam had arranged that each of the sons would marry one of the daughters. (In some tellings, that's why Cain killed Abel; Cain thought Abel was getting the better-looking sister.)
Anyway, after the murder, there were supposedly three people left in the world, all of them living in Eden. Yet Cain told God he was afraid someone would kill him after he left Paradise.
Where did the other people come from? Oh, well... one of the many questions that arise from a literal interpretation of the Bible.

This is a classic example of erroneous information spewed out against the Mormon faith by those who are totally ignorant, are anti-Mormon, or are ex-communicated Mormons.
If Cain had sex with monkeys it's certainly not recorded in any scripture I know about. Maybe the wife he had selected was similar to a monkey--too much hair(?), but I doubt it.
The Bible merely mentions Cain taking his wife to the Land of Nod.
When in doubts about Mormon theology, log onto lds.org or grab one of those white-shirt and tie young missionaries off his bicycle and ask. Be gentle; they're young and most attractive to the ladies.

Sounds like the alchohol was working when he came up with that one...or drugs perhaps? I have been Mormon most of my life and have never heard such blatent stupidty before. The Church does not teach that Cain had sex with monkeys...what kind of idiot would make that up and then expect over 12 millions followers to believe? Besides that, it is not genetically possible.

i imagine you've been given some very incorrect and deceptive ideas... NO, we do not trust everyone can resurrect yet another, except God or Jesus Christ. era. What i imagine you're relating is - the anti-Mormon propaganda that announces we trust that when this existence, the husband receives to "choose" if he will deliver his spouse with him to the Celestial Kingdom or no longer. This also, isn't actual. a guy can't enter the Celestial Kingdom without his spouse, nor the spouse without the husband. it really is what we trust. No "guy" has any ability to do something the Lord gained't enable... We trust marriage is for time and all eternity, at the same time as entered into with suggestions from the splendid authority and sealed with suggestions from the Holy Spirit of promise, in the Lord's holy temple. That union will not be damaged, if each and each and every save their covenants. because all of us recognize God will save His delivers. So back, no, we do not trust everywhere close to what you requested.

I am mormon and I can tell you for a fact that we DO NOT believe that. I don't know what in the world he is talking about but if he is an alcoholic he doesn't follow our religious practices anyway. Our church has no offical stance as to where blacks "originated" from and anything else is just rumors.

I did some research and it appears that the LDS Church has changed its stance and teaching on Blacks. This came about in 1979. I am glad it did. It brings the LDS Church in line with other Christian churches in admitting people of all races to membership and the priesthood.
That bit about mating with monkeys certainly sounds like alcohol talking. How sad that people try to find Spirit in such a dark glass!
The article linked below explains the change if you wish to read it.

Not only is Mormon/alcoholic a "crappy combo" ... it also goes directly against the teachings of the church. Mormons are forbidden by their faith to drink alcohol ... or coffee ... or most varieties of tea. But they can drink Pepsi.
They're also are not to smoke.
If you want to read what the Mormons believe, you can pick up a free copy of The Book of Mormon without much effort ... they're happy to give them away.

I guess he did not attend Church very much after his all-night drinking parties. He did not get that from the Church...
Have you heard of Noah?... How many people did he have on the ark? was he before or after Cain?... did he have any african americans on the ark with him?...
hint: Noah was after Cain... and the Bible does not mention any decendants of Cain being on the Ark.

I'm not Mormon...but I do know Mormons are still taught that dark skin is a sign of a prior curse in the in the eternal realm.
What he told you; I doubt he was taught this at his church. Sounds like someone has filled his head with too much alcohol...

mormons at one time (a long time ago) believed that blacks were cursed and a subspecies. they could be members but could not hold priesthood and other important positions in the church. because this kind of thinking is becoming more and more unpopular (as well it should be) they changed their standing and blacks are more readily welcomed into the church. i don't know about that mating with monkeys stuff, though, that could have been the alcohol or his own prejudice shining through.
