1 week ago my bf said we needed to take a break what does it mean? And what does it mean when he said 'I don't want a girlfriend right now?' I cheated on him and he gave me a second chance. And I haven't cheated on him since he gave me that chance. Do u think him and I will get back together in a month or so? And do you think he still loves me?

When guys say they want a break it's not that they don't want a girlfriend, but maybe they just need a break from the committment standpoint of the relationship. sometimes when there is so much going on in a person's life like things with school, work, or someone cheating on them they don't want things to be really serious since they need to figure things out. I'm sure once things clam down and he thinks about everything and wants to give you antoher chance then he'll not want to be on a break.

If he needs to take a break let him. Give him some space, but how long r u willing to stick around? Because he could take a day or a couple of months. And only he could tell u if he still loves u.

The classic smooth way of eventually flushing you down the drain. Very very very few men foresee a long-term relationship with a girlfriend who has a history of cheating. So don't expect much. Your repentance from cheating is only good for your new boyfriend.

sorry I know you said guys only but honey don't let him lead you on he wants to play the field and see if there is something else out there he is so not over your cheat and might never be if he doesn't want a girlfriend and you still want to see him by all means do but see what else is out there so you don't get left behind if he finds someone

he's probably thinking once a cheat always a cheat... He's also feeling insecure incase you do it again, no matter how much you re-assure him. Because once he's told his mates, they will always tell him, move on, you're miserable and insecure. You cant trust her...
Also, if your out drinknig with mates, he's wondering what you're really up too.
When he said a break, he needs time alone to think about if he can forgive.

you never know. i would let him have his time. don't call him, don't ask your mutual friends about him, don't go to places he hangs out, don't try to make him jealous, etc.! if he doesn't call learn by experience and let it go. don't cheat the next time but don't bust yourself over it. this experience will probably make you a wiser person. good luck!
