he would be feeding the poor
healing the sick
visiting the incareated
But as He is not here to do it,
we'd better do it

I think he'd be a social worker, or a cop, perhaps a deli clerk as he did like to feed people. If he floats down from the sky, i think it will cause too much of a rucus, he'd probably just come out of a phone booth like superman or something as to not disturb the peace (or make the world more chaotic then it already is). I dont know the answer to your question, but i think its an awesome question to ask.. Thanks for the 2 points!!

See, I think in order the answer the question of Christianity is true, is to get down the the basic question, do you believe that Christ-ianity....that Christ was more than a mire person. For that is the bases of the start. See, Jesus or Christ was about people, cultures and were the issues of life stemmed from. He was concerned about the family, personal issues and how society view those who where, not to be the ones noticed, but He noticed them all. I know that Jesus would want to be with people, especially those who are broken, hurt or have lost hope and offer them something ....unconditionally with no strings attached... His love, grace and forgiveness.... why.... just because.... I think Jesus would also show up where the kids are playing.... for it says .... come unto me as a little child...and when we come down to it.... we are all big kids..... we just still need someone to love us with simple like love as welcoming as it comes when we were kids.... Hmmm .... just imagine.... crawling up into your Daddy's lap ...just because you can....

Well that depends on if you are referring to reincarnation or second coming. In reincarnation, he would be a different person with the same soul, and if it is the second coming, he floats down fully formed from heaven the same person he was 1,000 years ago. I'm a believer in the first theory. I think that he has come and gone and come again, and no one has noticed. That aside, I think he'd be a hippie, and possibly a political activist, and he'd live in Santa Cruz, CA :)

He'd be speaking out against the so-called, "Christian Right" which has stomped all over His teachings to further their own economic agendas. Hopefully, he'd give more credibility to the Christian Left. Where he would appear first? I don't know, but I'd hope he'd pay a visit to the oval office first and tell 'W' that he's the worst advertising for living a Christian life.

what makes you think he isn't already here, living among us we just don't care enough to see or follow.....by the way he's prophet, was and is as for 'floating down from the sky' you know he doesn't live on mars or a planet don't you, he's spiritual, he lives everywhere and in us all. all the people who want to see him do and where ever they are they see him so he can be simutaneously all over the planet at any given moment...its a difficult concept for humans because we are such finite minded beings.

Jesus said the following things:
"Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand." -Matthew 12:25
"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves." -Matthew 7:15
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." -Matthew 7:1-2
"Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."
-Matthew 9:19
If Jesus were around today, I think he'd be reminding the fundamentalist Christians that they are being thoroughly un-Christian by preaching hatred and discrimination, and trying to teach the world to stop hating and killing each other in the name of God.
On the other hand, if Jesus were to come back, most of the fundamentalist Christians would write him off as one o' thems evil liberals and continue to preach hate.
False prophets, anyone?

He is homosexual so I think the Christians who supported his cause will be very disappointed indeed. The new world order will be very strange and different from the Christianity preached today.

He would be preaching the gospel as he did in days of old.
Faith. Repentance.Baptism.Gift of Holy Ghost
He would be speaking of his Father and what His will for His children is.
He would be redeeming the dead and perfecting the saints.
