I've seen this woman I like in town, seen her a few times and also waiting at bus stops etc in the local area. She's someone I'd like to ask out and get to know a bit better, but I'm shy. Not saying we would get on as I know nothing about her but would like to at least find out and get to know her a bit better. But I am shy and not sure I could just walk up to her and ask her out. She works in a shop in town and I thought perhaps sending her flowers with a note saying something like I've seen her around and would like to get to know her better if she is not seeing anyone, perhaps leave my mobile number so she can text me. What does everyone think?? Any advice i would appreciate, especially from the girls. Thanks

don't send flowers, that might be a bit scary when you haven't even spoken. Try going into the shop she works in pretending to buy something, then you can get talking to her naturally, perhaps ask her advice on whatever it is her shop sells, so you get a conversation going. Be friendly and charming and maybe you can get onto non-work-related topics! Don't force it though - but maybe find an excuse to go back again - maybe take the thing back that you buy asking if you can change it for another size or something. Once you've spoken to her a couple of times, that would be a more appropriate time to show her that you're interested.

If you are really interested, then you need to let her know by gathering your courage together and actually talking to her. Start by saying hello at the bus stop. Then, shop in the store where she works. Ask her advice about a "gift" that you are looking for. Plan a few of these accidental meetings to test the water and see if there is a spark. If there is a spark, ask her out and then give her those flowers!
Good Luck!

What you are thinking of doing i would say is probably the best advice for yourself, flowers and a message. You sound really clued up about approaching this woman. Good Luck Sweetheart, Romance seems to be extinct nowadays

The thing with the flowers would be really cute and flattering to her. Another approach would be just to strike a small conversation up with her. While shes at the stop, you should go over and make small talk.........."Hey, looks like we're gonna have nice weather today." or "Excuse me, but would you happen to have the time?". Keep it simple and if theres anything there it will spark between you two.

Honesty wins every time. Just walk up to her and tell her that you think she is pretty and that you would like to get to know her. If she blows you off, you can feel good about yourself for trying. Unless she is a total b!tch, she will at least be interested in conversation. No lines, no scary stalker moves like flowers and notes, just straight up honesty. If you stumble over your words, ask her to be patient because you are nervous as sh!t around beautiful women.

tell her a joke...a really funny one that'll crack her up. that will calm you down a bit for sure and then grab the courage and talk to her for a while before you pop the question.....good luck!
