I am temporarily living with my father who molested me as a child. He has never owned up to it. I am wondering how other people in this situation got through it. Basically I try to be at home as little as possible, but it's still really tough.

Man, that is tough. I am not in this situation. Be careful. They tend to not stop the abuse. As they get older, they get a bit more tired and weak, but they can still be very manipulative.
If I were in this situation, I would do everything I could to avoid living with someone who was abusive, especially if they never owned up to it. Try your hardest to get out of there. Work two jobs if you must. Find a room mate that you can trust and get an apartment together. Find a small garage apartment to live in.

MOVE OUT!!!! I don't think it's safe for you. How do u know he didn't do that to other children or could be doing it now? From what I've seen in the media the guy should be in jail. And those types of people tend to do it again if they get away with it. Press charges to put the guy in jail. Change your name. Get a good therapist to help resolve any issues. Get a restraining order too. Live in another state if you have too.

The hidden part of this question is "And I never told anybody
about this", right?
That is, you have other parents but they don't know about the
abuse and you don't want to kick up a fuss, right?
What, do you suppose, is the probability that he has abused
somebody else? How, by you remaining silent, have you
helped that happen?
Remember, with parents in general, you don't have to
prove his guilt to a reasonable doubt - only that you don't want
to stay with him. The rest is another issue entirely.

Do whatever you have to do not to live it over again.
Camp out if you must.
