So many people are answering with their answer saying "I 100% believe in Jesus Christ" "Jesus is my lord and savior!" "I will never stop believing in Jesus!" .... did anyone ask? Get over yourself.

Do you presume that these Christians are egotistical and arrogant?
Absolutely they are! You read the answers... the majority of them HAVE to shout their faith to the world... your faith does not have to be advertised on every answer.

I did? Where did I ever proclaim in my question "I am an atheist and proud of it!" No where...

"You're assuming that all believers advertise their faith"
You really need to read Koresh... read the question "MOST BELIEVERS" man I hate people that don't read.

Just because I love snickers bars doesn't mean that I have to advertise that on every answer I make in the food question section....
or better yet... my favorite football team gets added to every question I answer of someone in the sports section.... no one asked.

I AGREE!!! People do need to get over themselves and just shut up! None care what religious preference you are.! And for once can you answer questions without advertising it. It just makes you more close minded!

Of course they do, because this is the Religion and Spirituality section. Why shouldn't you advertise your faith here? Do you presume that these Christians are egotistical and arrogant? How can such simple statement such as, "Jesus is my Lord and Savior" be arrogant? Here is an example of arrogance:
attempting to order people to stop advertising their faith, simply because it bothers you.

Sharing the Gospel of Jesus is done out of love. Sharing the Gospel with others is not selling cookies door-to-door...it is about sharing the way to have your soul saved for eternity, rather than perish in torment in the lake of fire.
If you hear this and simply harden your heart and think Christians are wackos...that's your choice. Faith, too, is simply a choice...but once made, changes your life forever in the most wonderful way.

False reporting.
All those who advertise their faith are believers, but not all believers advertise their faith. You're assuming that all believers advertise their faith, so when you see some doing it, you confirm your own hypothesis. Without other determining factors of people's belief, your statement is invalid and your analysis incomplete.

When you are a Christian, you are supposed to tell others that you are a Christian . In the bible, it is part of what is known as "The Great Commission"
( "go forth and tell others").
Apparently, no one asked if you were NOT a Christian, yet you proclaimed your beliefs.
Perhaps you need to get over yourself.

For the same reason that people are into promiscuity feel a need to show explicit pictures and talk about sex all the time.
If it's who we are, of course it's going to come out in our answers.
I love Jesus, and I'm not afraid to talk about it. He has done more for me than any person could and loves me unconditionally. It's awesome!

Yes , they (we) do. Perhaps it's because this is a totally appropriate forum for it. Perhaps we like to advertise our particular bias on an issue. Perhaps we're simply not ashamed and it comes natural. Get over ourselves? This is not a humility issue, I would hope.

I find it amusing that people seek to censor out references to religion on a forum dedicated to that. So sorry for you. Atheists do the same thing, just in converse.

our faith contains every answer to every question for us. i agree that at times faith is interjected where it obviously didn't need to be, but for most things, people ask questions, expecting a person's opinion and our faith is (should) be involved in forming our opinions. otherwise, it's worthless to hold on to.
