My x is still a very important person to me and i want to have her in my life as a close friend (nothing more) while moving on to find someone that loves me (she doesnt =P). I'm not actively LOOKING (I've found that until you stop looking you dont find what your really looking for) but I'm keeping my options and my eyes open. Is it really possible to move on with her still in my life?

Probably. When you find the other person, that's when you'll actually know if you've moved on and can tolerate a new relationship at that point. But probably not anytime soon for sure.

absolutely. You can learn a lot from a relationship, and not continuing that friendship will make you tend to forget your lessons. Value the friendship and the times together, without regret. Good luck.

Well if your sure you don't have anymore strong feeling for her then i think staying her friend is ok i woulden't want to lose a very good friend just because we broke up. telling the next girlfriend might be hard though good luck!

It depends if your new love is willing to accept that your ex is a close friend that you want in your life.

yeah but it may be more harder to move on, she's your friend but then again your still hung up on her, just try not to spend so much time with her, it'll interfere with your dating world
