let's see.
Thou shalt not steal (innocent people's SSN and identities)
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's possesions (Mexicans covet the heck out of the US)
How about,
Give unto Caesar that which belongs to Caesar?
If you're basing immigration policy on a 2000 year old book of fairy tales, you're as bad as the people who believe policy should be based on the inscription on the Statue of Liberty.
And for the folks who quote 'land of the free' from the Star Spangled Banner, put that line back into context. Oh, say does that Star Spangled banner yet wave, o'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
Last time I looked I saw an awful lot of Mexican flags replacing the Star Spangled banner in the 'land of the free'.

Oh, give me a break! Now, you're going to start quoting the bible? How about "obey the laws of the land"? That means NO sneaking into the country, NO working without paying TAXES, no stealing i.d.'s,etc I don't think even Jesus, would feel sorry for the criminal invaders!

That's a great question!
Jesus told us the second greatest commandment was to 'love thy neighbor'.....He didn't say legal or illegal, he didn't qualify it.
He also was an advocate for the poor, women, lepers, tax collectors, sinners in general. He came for the poor. His ministry didn't focus on political issues, but issues of the heart.
I guess Jesus was the first liberal.....He spoke against injustices and the corrupt leaders of his time.
SO for all you who are anti illegals, where is your Christianity? How does Jesus see these people? With compassion or hate?
I include myself in this issue....Its our country and some day we will account to God for our own actions, both good and bad, can you forgive and accept people who sin against you?

he threw the money changers out of the temple.
but what they dont tell you is that they had to be there because there were no police, and the thieves were only afraid of a lightning bolt if they stole in a gods house!
so I guess the business men went out and were robbed and killed so people had to look for the church for everything instead of taking care of themselves

Probably smoke a lot of dope, and sing happy songs about togetherness. Then, the cops would pick him up for holding, and throw him in jail for a month. And YOU thought it was 'frankincense' LOL

That's right Angela. Mexico should be ashamed of itself for not taking care of it's own. How Christian is that?

Good point. The beatitudes give it away, I think:
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled."
(Later on in Matthew:)
"Be careful not to do your 'acts of righteousness' before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven."
"Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy."
"Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
