Well, it seems that all have forgotten about God granting us free will. I would assume that in order for it to hold up technically and be truly free will, well then even if God sees a disaster ahead, he allows us to make the choices we do. Then of course we also have to accept that we made our bed, then you must lie in it, comfy or not.
That being said, God had no say in Bush becoming pres. The various choices of numerous individuals did. Unfortunately, being a democratic society, everyone must live with some of the burden brought on by another's choice. For example, voted for him, or another candidate, the majority picked him.
Oh and I believe that he watches some of our actions with great dismay. But we are all still his children, so bad or not, right or wrong, he still loves us all. EVERYONE IN THE WORLD.

God cares about all of us, regardless of color, race and nationality. Countries in the ME are killing each other, does that mean that the USA isn't gonna get God's love because we aren't blowing up other states? God does exist. If you are from USA, you should be proud of our President and the freedom to write whatever you want to say without fear of persecution. I know I do.

American people chose Bush in 2000 and 2004. Whether God was involved is unknown at this time

Bush was elected by us. I thank God every day that he was elected and reelected - the alternatives were worse. But I don't believe God chose him.

first off lets make one thing clear .
a creator exists but it is not the god man speaks of or knows about except in his own private thoughts .
EVERYTHING in all religious books is crap to control people and should be ignored .
BUSH has no possibility of being choosen by GOD or anyone else for that matter and people like billy graham should be arrested and jailed as con men .and the pope and everyone connected with religion .

God chooses and allows leaders to come to power in order to further the world toward His goals. Whether or not you like George Bush, he was ordained to lead the US at this time just as Bill Clinton was at his time. Both men have done good and bad things in office and both have led us further toward the "New World Order".

If you believe in god, then he allowed it. He was chosen by the people of the United States (which can be debated) through free will given by god, again if you believe in God.
