And your question is what??

2Peter 3:8 With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

The significant thing is what is done with the time. So, make the right decision for Jesus and the benefits will be eternal (the converse is also true.)

That is how to look at death as well, when you die you become nothing as your life force returns to God who gave it. While in the grave there is no work, no devising, no knowledge, or remembrance. So when you close your eyes in death time passes without knowledge of it, when you are then resurrected back to life on a paradise earth the passage of time was unknown, you will close your eyes in death then instantly open your eyes to a new life on a peaceful earth. Sounds less frightening then all the other things you hear concerning death and hell.

This is the way one of my professors explained time to me:

Imagine a seagull flying on the beach. He flies 10 miles down the beach and finds a mound of sand 500 feet wide and 500 feet tall. He takes a single grain of sand and flies it back 10 miles from where he started and drops it off. Then he flies back to the mound of sand and takes another single grain. He repeats this process until the entire mound of sand is moved. That is one second in time.

I thought that was pretty cool.

Yes, it is. The Bible states that many times throughout. So many people still haven't learned any Scripture. Try reading some of the Bible, it has so much to teach us all.

Yeah. Think about our delicate mortality long enough and you might do something crazy like create a religion to deal with your fears of death.
