Tofu can taste great to me, but it can also taste like crap to me. I can't tell you if you will like it or not, but I can tell you that there are times that I do. I use extra firm tofu that's been well drained and then let it marinate in a soy sauce and season salt mixture for 30-60 minutes. I then wok sautee it in cooking oil until it gets brown & crispy. I drain it on a paper towel and cook some vegetables in an asian sauce and then add the tofu. Serve over rice and voila - a great Asian meal with tons of protein! : )

Tofu is tasteless. You have various textures, from silky to extra firm. The tofu will take on a taste based on the spices and the way you prepare the tofu dish.

Tofu is very bland...so not much taste there. But, because it's so bland, it mixes well with a lot of other things. Like fried tofu and vegetables...add a little garlic, soy sauce and rice...yeow! Good stuff.

tofu is a japanese soy-based bean curd. most people think that it does taste nasty, but the truth is that it takes on the taste of what ever you mix it with- be it onions or carrots or broccoli or what ever. so try it, you may like it. but i will tell you that fried is the best way!

tofu does not have a taste, it absorbs the flavors you cook it with, garlic is good

It's a matter of personal preference.
Personally, I think it tastes nasty...unless frozen in the form of tofutti...then, it's actually downright good!
