All of these things are true but you also need to make sure that the audio format is supported by the player you will use to watch the movie.

You need an DVD authoring program that can convert the file into DVD format.

Check what came with your burner. Nero 6 Ultra Edition (and the new Nero 7 Ultra) come with utilities that can do this. Roxio's Easy CD/DVD can do this. There are some free tools also available on the net.

You need 2 things hardware and software.

If your CD/DVD ROM drive is burn capable (must ALSO be DVD burnable) then you may not need any software for it. There are free AVI and MP3 (I think that is what you meant) converters available for download on the internet. Make sure it is from a trusted source.

You need a blank disc, a cd/dvd recorder and a recorder program, such as Nero and Easy CD Creator.
