This is a totaly legit question. People that want to refer to God as a 'HE' must admit that God has male genitelia as apposed to female genitelia . Using the answer God is masculine.is a BS answer. Masculine has nothing to do with 'He'. Ive met some masculine females, and yes they were definatly females.(as apposed to shemales). And there are 'he's' that are feminime. Christians must have detailed answers to claim that God is a 'he' as apposed to a 'she'

Christians that see this question as rude dont know the nature of seeking details to peoples claims. If a person claims to know God is a he, it is totally reasonable to ask questions in relation to the sex of 'god'

'Eugene' actually my six year old would ask it. Because he is my six year old ...and i would teach them(my other kids as well) to ask questions like this to people who makes claims of such knowledge.

'Dig' Im not really stupid. See I always ask questions like this, and many other so called silly questions. Because I seek truth. as a result, I probably have an IQ 1.25 that of yours. who knows. I am a child. even jesus says.become like a child. I see as a child. plain obvious simple questions that christians are too 'clever' to answer.

In a male dominant society God was male. He's the Father, the Son, the King, etc. If God exists and is male i'd guess it's huge. Almost as big as mine.(I know it was obvious.) God is bodiless and so lacking in genitals so God can still be masculine but not male in a biological sense. It's God why worry about what He brings to the party? Would you worship him more or less if you found out he was hung like an ant or Ron Jeremy?

I admit that there is no gender neutral pronoun in the english language, otherwise I'd use that (probably)
God is spirit. He does not have a physical body. But he is also personal, that is why I do not call him "it"
I call God he by convention.
In the bible God is sometimes referred to by both male and female nouns and adjectives. God is referred to as a mother hen gathering up her chicks under her wing, for example.
God created the entire human race - "In the image of God he created them, male and female he created them"
Both men and women were created in the image of God!
I hope this helps :)

Wow, you are brave. God is not a he or a she. He is referred to as a he, because He models what a father is to us. God is Spirit and we should worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. He is the ultimate Father and He wants to do for you as a father (a good father) would want to do for his child. I hope you look a little deeper into all this. There are actual answers to all your questions, even questions like this, though I can't say it was asked in the nicest manner.

Whynotaskdon has it right on the head. LOL, oops, sorry for the pun, none intended!
To add, though, after this life, any "sex" in the afterlife wouldn't be sex as we know it. Pleasure/happiness in the afterlife will be something we are completely unaware of now, but whatever it is, it will be waaaaayyyyyyyyy better than physical sex now. Whatever it is, it will be INFINITELY better than what we know now. So it's not just a denial of one thing (sex), but it's something far greater (whatever it is).

"God" usually intends to say "The Father", and He is given a masculine name to make it easier to refer to Him. Great question, however obscene, immature, and rude it was. Jesus definitely was a male. "God" does not have a body, and if there is no body, obviously there would be no penis.

Why do you mock God? He is the Creator of all things living! He made humans out of clay!
Are you a demented sexual freak? If not, then stop asking ridiculous questions which reflect who you are!

THE GOD is referred to as HE from the usage of Old Shakespearean English.........like WE, its meaning is == BIG STUFF, or Royalty.
In the spiritual realm there is no sex, no need for sex, no desire for sex.
Our pea brains have trouble with things like that simply we can not fathom that there can be joy beyond something as exciting as sex itself.

Sounds like asking how big is the penis of a humperdindsys.
The question is necessarily nonsensical.
(But if god were real why *wouldn't* he have genitals? I'd like to ask some of the others who answered your question.)

I've heard that in Hebrew, the word "god" has both male and female endings to the word - that makes your question even more interesting...

It is a legitimate question. I also never understood this God/He concept.
Probably we will both never understand, since the majority of christians is too offended when they even read the word penis.
