record their voice and play back for them when they are in a good mode. they may hate hearing themselves then they may quit talking like that.

The best way I found to get back at my parents, while it may sound lame, but it worked for me. While I was getting yelled at for something I did or didn't do, I never said a word. My dad could have asked my name and I still wouldn't answer. After everything was done and did I would go ahead and do my own thing. I figured if I was going to get yelled at, it might as well be for something I did, not because my parents had a bug up their butt. I would just stared at my dad while he was going on and on about whatever, I was the only child to get him as mad as he did. After so long, it all pretty much stopped, they didn't want to waste their breath any longer. P.S. I have a wonderful relationship with my parents today!

Sounds like you may have as much, if not more, on the ball than your parents do. So what's with all the desire to get even? Why not engage them in a calm, adult, mature conversation some time? Do you think they would really turn you down?
Parents and their children should not be in a long term advisarial relationship. Do your part to end it, if your parents are not able or capable of doing so.

The best idea is for you to grow up. You don't "get back" at your parents. You obey the rules and do well in school and then when you are able to support yourself, you can make a decision on whether you want to continue a relationship with your parents or not.

When he yells at you--stay calm- and when he has calmed down-- ask him what you can do for him(as in-"do right Now') then do it for him.
The first thing you should do is clean up your mouth and show more respect. next is start paying attention to what your parents tell you.
you may not believe this--but you are not the center of the universe.
The secret of getting along with others is putting them first--once you have learned that--things will go a lot better for you.

The silent treatment.
Say nothing, do what they say.
Put up an imaginary wall where you don't react to any yelling.
As if you're deaf, and can't hear a sound.
But do what they tell you and don't make a sound.
Drives them crazy when you pretend like you don't hear them.

Get a job. Seriously. Then you won't be home for them to yell at you.

Stop being a spoiled brat. Your parents probably give you anything you want and they get sick of your whining and laziness. Get off your *** and go do something, you sound like you need your *** kicked.
