This is not a survey question. I would like to know, with an educated answer, what occurs with a second wind. Is there a physical reaction in the body that causes it or it is in our minds?

It's a bit of both actually. The body has adjusted to the activity, the mind releases endorphins, and there you have your second wind.

Got to be the "mind" because I get my second wind as soon as I get home from work. I know that is psychological.

Any wound, even if stitched or no longer, heals better and speedier at the same time as that is roofed with a sterile bandage. opposite to everyday conception, leaving it uncovered to the air does no longer help. fairly, it will develop the probability of bacteria getting into contact with the wound, that may merely extend healing.
