One dream can be interpreted for many meanings. It all depends on your life style and how you look at things. There is no such thing as fixed meaning in dreaming interpretation. However, if you state your dream, I will try my best to analyze it. I got many answers correct which I am confident that my method is far more accurate than some website.

If you use fixed meaning to explain your dream, you will easily go wrong. Poop does not mean money, it may mean mess. fish doesn 't mean pregnant, it may mean freedom. It all depends on your background and how you look at things.

Yes, dreams are subconscience thing, but it can be triggered by media effects, actual events and your personality.

i don't think that those things you mentioned actually mean anything,

however, Spiritually analyzing dreams can result of something.

Some dreams mean nothing and some dreams have the Spirit of God or a devil possesion in the.

I was once going to get up and pray in the middle of the night, and I could not move, I remember trying to move, and it felt like the sheets were wrapped around me and I could not get down off my bed to pray. so I began to pray the "Our Father" while still in bed and the force that was keeping me down started going away. I then woke up in the morning, and though it was all a dream, but I know the devil did not let me get up to pray.

I do not. I once asked a psychiatrist this very question. He said dreams mean you are in REM sleep, the fourth level of sleep. Your body is essentially paralyzed, but your brain continues to function. I have the same dream occasionally. My dental hygienist told me that, when she and her classmates were studying for finals at dental hygiene school, many of them had this dream the night before the test. It may be related to dry mouth. Some people breath through the mouth when sleeping. Your mouth dries out if in a deep sleep, and feels different to your still-functioning brain. Don't worry about it until your teeth fall out. Then you know you have a problem.

Dreams are simply the activity of your subconscious mind as you sleep. They are a way for your brain to discharge useless or harmful information. A lot of symbolism in dreams relates to experiences you have already had, worries and such. You cannot use dreams to predict outside events.

There is nothing supernatural about dreams, but by dissecting them accurately you can figure out certain things about yourself.

If you think about someone or something too much...you will see a dream about that. It's just what your mind makes up...it's not real ..hell no. Im sure no one's that dumb to believe in dreams. Most of the stuff i see are the things I think about that's all. And I'm a Christian so whoever thinks religious people believe in dreams they're wrong.

Some dreams are just memories, and other dreams may mean something...but not exactly the way the dream went, and other dreams may be a premonition or a warning from your sub-conscious. I know that probably doesnt help you much..but these are things I have learned or been told.

Maybe dreams will help you sometimes but in the reality, they just take you away from the real life and things that happening in the real world.
So I think you can let yourself dream when there is nothing to do. While in the other time try to do something that may bring you closer to your dreams.

Sometimes dreams mean things and some times they do not. Do not look too deeply into them. That is one of the many tricks of the devil. Some people become obsessed with "interpreting" dreams and to their own folly. Many times, the devil will give us certain dreams to try to lead us into sin. He has this power so do not give them too much thought. Remember, in the Bible, Joseph could interpret dreams but no one else could. It was a special gift for him alone.

You know, I recently had a dream that reminded me that dreams are not merely the product of random processing based on information collected and decrypted over the period of our lifetimes.

Needless to say, I don't yet see the relevance. I DO, however, just like many, I suppose, have a hair-brained theory about what dreams are, where they come from, and why we have them, but I feel that more research should be done before I start stirring up trouble in the Scientific Sector.

Yes dreams have meaning. I will tell you that if you dream of a lost love then it can be representative of the new love to follow. I would need more details, but in many cases we replace the unknown with a person that we do know.
And your mother is right, our subconscience does speak to us in dreams.
