I think the reasons vary from woman to woman. Some women who work in the entertainment industry do it because the return justifies the investment. Some women do it for the men in their lives, and some do it out of insecurity.

Unfortunately, your refreshingly realistic view of the situation is not what women grow up being indoctrinated with. We are taught that bigger is better, and men want and expect it. It's unavoidable----Hooters, Playboy, Juggies on The Man Show. When men stop drooling about cleavage, women might begin to feel more comfortable with what they got!

Somewhere along the line, women got the idea that a man wouldn't look at them if they didn't have a big chest. Beats me why they do it. I'm quite happy with what I have thanks. Other than reconstructive surgery, say from a car accident or having a mastectomy, I don't see any need to get a bigger chest.

A lot of women are overly insecure about their breast size. If I was completely flat - I'd get a small one. Just to have curves, you know! I know a girl from my hometown who got them because it makes her waist look a lot smaller. Ridiculous, but whatever. It's her body.

The ones that get them are the women only look at the chest.I know that it is what we like but there is a lot more to a women that the chest.

Some guys like them. Just like some women are attracted to a guy with a tattoo. It's probably the same crowd.

Cause when God was handing them out they were to busy looking in the mirror. They missed out on the free ones now they got to pay for them.

Because the media tells us that unless we are a size nothing with 38D's, we are fat and flat. And heaven forbid your breasts start to sag, you might as well give up unless you have the money to "fix" them.

to help boost their confidence...i think you should do whatever you have to do to have good confidence in yourself...no matter what. I am a guy and im gonna have my nose done...just cause it is slightly turned to the right...no one can tell but me and my surgeon...but it still bothers me....nothing will look fake if you go to the right surgeon....Dr. Rey is the best boob job guy around!!!!!

Well women get breast implats to improve their bouancy, so if they cant swim they will act as a flotation device
