Has anyone ever known any instances (personal experience) that they feel that reincarnation had taken place? Whether it be a human, pet, or whatever? I lost my very beloved uncle two years ago and it tore my heart out. Ever since that time, he has appeared to nearly every woman in my family, especially me and told them constantly that he is coming back. In one dream, he quoted to me something that I was not sure what it meant.."A little while, a moment of rest upon the wind, and another woman shall bear me.." I had no clue what it meant at all until I researched it and found it to be a quote from the poet Khalil Gibran from "The Prophet"..Within a month of this dream, I found I was pregnant, which came as a HUGE surprise to me..and recently I found out it was a boy child I am carrying. He is due 11/1, which is bizarre since my uncle's birthday was 1/11. I am not claiming for sure it is really my uncle, but I am not saying it isn't. Please be respectful..any personal experience or idea?

It is amazing to me how many answers you have received referencing the "evil one"!!! Talk about pagan cults.....lol
Anyway, yes, I have had personal experiences of remembering past life experiences-and not always pleasant. There is a very distinct knowing that will be present in your physical body as well as your consciousness. Trust your own inner voice, you know the answer better than anyone outside of yourself.
Based on what you have said, it would certainly seem likely your uncle has chosen to return with you. Individuals tend to reincarnate in repeating patterns of family groups and close friends, looking to resolve what they perceive to be incomplete or unresolved issues.
In that, you might then consider why your uncle has chosen you to now be his Mom....what can you give to this child, this being, to assist him to know that he is loved and to love himself without judgment.....
Bless you in your journey, this birth and your forthcoming adventure into motherhood. I raised my son myself, and have become so much more refined in my own expression through our relationship-there is nothing more precious to me.And I suspect, this will be true for you as well. Peace, Michelle

I think he was once crying false tears the entire time. He's absolutely now not severe approximately the connection and he is losing your FEELINGS on him. Don't supply your middle away to an insecure, bloodless-hearted character like that. He seems like he is simply toying with you. He appears like he simply desires to know the way a long way he can pass into breaking you down till you eventually say you've got had sufficient. I do not consider he is the proper one for you, sweetie. There are lots of worthier guys available in the market so that you can decide on, however significantly now not this one you are speaking approximately. Over time, you can put out of your mind approximately him. Don't fear. You could love him nevertheless it doesn't suggest that you simply cannot placed that love onto any person else extra necessary. Best of success.

You are finding a pattern where none exists. Dreams are acts of the subconscious mind, they are not supernatural in any way.

You want this to be true so badly that you are conforming your reality around a fantasy. Reincarnation is not real, visions, gods, the supernatural it's all misinterpretation of the world around us.

Don't get yourself too excited, granted that sounds very promising, but given the knowledge we have i can say almost for certain that you are simply putting disparate events together to form false patterns that support your hope.

I feel that I reincarnated from someone who was alive in the 1930's 40's and 50's. I was born in the 80's and one day I was changing the radio station when I heard a really old song from the 30's or 40's. Scary thing is that it felt sooo familiar, like I was reliving my youth "in the good ol'days". I now listen to music like this and feel like reminiscing about these days. Strange.
BTW, great post, I do believe in reincarnation.

With all due respect, I don't believe in reincarnation. I used to consider it as a possibility, but I've done a lot of studying, soul-searching and praying. I was conflicted because I am Christian, but there seemed to be clues in life that would point to there being reincarnation. In my family my grandfather died when I was two, then my brother was born 5 years later. Everyone in the family said if reincarnation existed, he could be my grandfather. He looks like him and acts like him. I doubt, however, that he is because I sense my grandfather's presence around my mother a lot. She was a daddy's girl and I feel that he protects her a lot. I have very vivid memories of him even though he died when I was two and I can sense him vividly too sometimes. I am much more certain of this than I am about my brother being a reincarnation of my grandfather. I prayed a lot about it and I studied about these things and I came to the conclusion that the spirits of our relatives are waiting for the afterlife and may be around us, but they don't get more than one chance at this life. Their energy is still around us and they sometimes try to validate our feelings and tell us that everything will be OK.

As for your experience, consider the fact that dreams are symbolic, poetic you might say. I don't doubt the "possibility" that your uncle communicates to your family, however before you believe it as fact, question what his purpose would be. Does he have unfinished business? Was he an arrogant man in life where he would want to prove himself by having another one? Maybe he is just trying to tell you that he is OK and that he is taking care of you, your family or your child. You may also wait to see if you or your family still have dreams about him after you have your baby. Sometimes we find coincidences that lead to self-fulfilling prophesies. Try to be objective, and pray if you are inclined to. I'm not going to go so far as to say that this could be a deamon trying to confuse you (your dream, not the child), but stay objective. Some people believe that Satan's army tries to mislead people this way. I don't believe that you are in danger, but that maybe you are being mislead. I also come from the perspective that astrology and tarot cards work (because I have seen them work), but they are meant as a distraction from the true focus, which is God.

This is just my opinion, just pray and research for yourself. Try to remain objective.

Scientific answer. People are made of energy. Energy can not be created or destroyed. when we die that energy doesn't just disappear.

now spiritual answer. I honestly believe that we can be reincarnated. I think it explains why some people can see into the past and in some cases into the future. It also explains "ghosts". That to me is an energy that has yet to find a new home.

I have not had an experience like this but just a thought here....the Bible states to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I don't think that once anyone is with the Lord they would even want to be away from Him and I don't think He would send them back to have to try to do life over again. I think it is a nice thought that maybe your son will be similar to your uncle and possibly possess some of his characteristics.

It's not Biblical, if that's a perspective you care about.

Heb 9:27.

There are possibilities from both the natural and supernatural that could explain this. You'll have to make up your own mind eventually.

Personally, I recommend being ruthless in finding truth. Don't let this single incident be the only thing you evaluate.

could be a coincidence, honestly people seriously don't realize that it is possible that these things happen.

The poem, you could have heard before. The dreams, did the women in your family care about him? Its possible to dream up stuff like that when someone dies, especially when you care about someone so much. And the babies birth date...just because he is due on 11/1 does not mean he will be born on 11/1

I do believe it - because I can remember the previous birth - Ya load of people might think that it is BS - but I remember me Dying young - and I remember entering the current body. I don't remember my this life's childhood - but I remember entering this life !

I know of several people who do remember and some to the extent of giving details (accurately as names, places etc) of their previous births.

The best explanation is - take the laws of energy - that it cannot be created or destroyed but convert to another form. Though this is not the exact explanation, What happens is when we live we have Kinetism (Kinetic energy) in us - when we die it turns to potency (potential energy). When it converts back to Kinetism, we are re-born.

In terms of life - it is the Thought that converts in to different forms of energy and gets reincarnated. Only we our selves can stop the reincarnation - but that is a whole new subject.

I have. It was my pet though... My puppy died, and,I had dreams about her for a month, felt her around me for about a month... up until the current dog I have now was born.

When I first saw her, I knew that it was my Pixie, and at first my family didn't believe it.... even my Mom who doesn't really believe in reincarnation, now believes. They're FAR too much alike, do the same things, etc.

I definately believe it's possible, to know for sure though, you'll have to wait until your baby comes out. Congradulations on finding out you're pregnant! ^_^
