Make some time just for her she probably looks up to you and wants to be like you and she is learning from you. Also, explain to her that you also need time without her. She is old enough to understand. If that doesn't work, lock your door!

My little sister is ten too. She used to do this ALL the time. I figured out that part of the intrigue of an older siblings' room is that they never get to go in it. If you let her come in on a regular basis, she will see that it is no big deal and it will have lost its sparkle. Play with her in there, and the next time she won't get out, remind her that you've been really nice to her.

Bribing with gum always works too ;-)

Well, I was the youngest but with step sisters. My best friend had a younger sister so we'd booby trap the room. When her sister walked in, we had it rigged where a padlock fell from a pully with string onto her head. Then whenever she would leave her room, we'd go in and put her Barbies and Kens in compromising positions without their outfits on. We got in trouble for that of course, but it all made her want to stay away from us, thus her older sister's room.

There is always a key to every room in the house...i have a key to my room. Ask your dad if you can have a spare key to your room and lock it everytime you leave your room. Put the key around your neck so she won't be able to reach it. good luck.

Why don't you try bugging her like she does to you. If you see her in her room, go in & start talking to her, follow her everywhere she goes, look through her dresser drawers, sing silly songs, tickle her--in other words drive her nuts. Maybe she will see the error of her ways...

Buy a lock. Install the lock on your door. Hey presto! Problem solved.

FOR JUST A FEW DOLLARS YOU CAN BUY A SLIDING LOCK. aSK YOUR DAD TO INSTALL (YOU CAN DO IT YOUR SELF) IT, HE IS PROBABLY SICK OF THE FIGHTING.
You could even try to spend 10 min a day with her (let her know this will stop if she wont leave you alone) all she want is her big sis/bro that she wants to be like.

She just wants your attention, and she probably admires you. I don't think there's a solution for that... Little sisters are like that. Tell her that you're really busy and promise her to spend some time with her later, and then pospone that, and then offer go shopping with her and pospone that... lol.
