I started my first teaching job. I am a very petite woman- 4'10" tall and I look VERY young for my age. (at least when I started working).
My mom helped me pick out some dresses and outfits that made me look "older."
On the first day of school, I put on the most "adult" looking of my dresses and put on pumps, so I would be a towering 5' tall.
The kids were coming into their classes (7th graders) I was greeting them as they went in.
Several parents stopped me and said "Honey, where's the teacher?" I said "I'm the teacher!" There were several looks of surprise. They thought I was one of the students!
I was 23 at the time. They thought I was 13!

I'm 30 but have one of those freaky, unusual voices that sounds like I'm no more than 5 years old. Everytime some idiot telemarketer or other stranger calls, they ask if 'my Mommy is home.'

My boyfriend's ID got ruined by a bouncer because he thought it was a fake.. it wasn't, he was 21 at the time
And I've had to give up to 3 ID cards to a bouncer and he still looked at me funny, we were sure he wasn't going to let me in... I was 20 at the time

Not in real life, lately. My Avatar looks young. Some people on here think I am young because of it. However they have no gray haired choice for my avatar. Really, I am not trying to mis- represent myself.

As i am an young adult, a lot of people seems to be more friendly than required....a lot of people are irritatingly nice...

yes...at 29 years old.... this young man kept watching me....as I walked into the store...I saw his friend push him in the front door...he walked up to me and asked if I would like to go to a movie...when I asked his age ...he told me me 16... then I smiled and I told him I was to old for him... and he said ..."If your not 18 yet... ..then it isn't illegal....
