Choice
The last thing they need to do is take any more crap and put it into animal feed. We already cut so many corners when it comes to caring for livestock that I would not be at all surprised if we get a mad cow outbreak or similar.
Clearly this kind of thing would also cause uproar among many people in the community in the same way that people would be offended if we ground up dead children and fed them to zoo animals. It's pretty obvious that this is unacceptable.
While I don't think a fetus has human rights, it is alive.
Life
In the world there are millions of children that starve to death every year. In the United States we currently have an infant mortality rate that does not even rank in the top 30 in the world, which is pathetic given how rich we are.
With millions of children around the world dying, and thousands dying here in America because we don't have universal health care, I'd say we have a long way to go to protect wanted born babies, without looking to introduce even more into the world.

Well I am pro-life and even your ponts up there still enforce my opinion. There are actually so many more people wanting to adopt children than are allowed to. If there wasn't so much red tape around adoption, more people would be adopting and more quickly. Obviously, there is a certain amount that needs to be done but it can take 10 or more years for an adoption process to be completed. If that were cleared up, the problem of unwanted children would be considerably less. Also, do you know what the children who are in care get for themselves? Both of my children were unplanned but I wouldn't have killed them. If I were a single mum, I could have around £100 in benefits to look after them. If they were in care, the carer would get that for looking after them plus an allowance to buy them clothes plus a birthday and Christmas allowance and then a personal allowance which they could easily save for when they turn 18 and have enough to get them started.
Not every unplanned child is unwanted, and there are also many children who were planned and wanted but still end up on the streets for whatever reason. Just as there are unplanned children who grow up in a loving household and grow up to be good people with good jobs, etc.

Answering Pro-Lifers:
You are completely mistaken. Children who are given up for adoption as an infant are WILDLY in demand. You will have absolutely no problem finding a couple who wants to adopt a healthy newborn!
The problem is the foster children who have disabilities and emotional damage. The older a child is, the harder it is for them to find a home because after the age of 6, a child's most formative years are over and their personality is pretty well determined. It's a very hard thing to adopt children that are older than 6 because they often have long term problems that will always be with them.

I believe that most farm animals are not normally fed a diet that is full of red meat. But, sure that's an acceptable use, I guess. The only farm animals that would probably eat that are the birds. We'd have to make sure they didn't become unhealthy as food for us by eating aborted fetuses. But, hey I couls deal with that "food-chain" scenario. After all, we eat shark meat, and they eat people, not just fetuses. Of course, I don't eat shark either.
