Love is Patient,
Love is Kind,
Love does not envy, is not prideful or arrogant
Love is not rude & does not seek its own way.
Love is not easily provoked to anger.
Love does not think evil,
Love does not rejoice in evil, but rejoices in truth.
LOVE
Bears all things,
Believes all things,
Hopes all things,
Endures All things.
Love Never Fails.
That is the best definition of Love.
But In my words, Love is selflessness, sacrifice, & understanding.
To truly love someone is to be willing to put their needs above yours, Throwing your pride out the window & Forsaking all others=being faithful & honest & true to that one person.
The person you love should be your BEST FRIEND.. who you can turn to no matter how little or big the problem may seem. They should be the 1st person you go to.
Love is truly a bond between a couple.
Love is when you would do anything for that person reguardless of your needs.
Its like you know each other from the inside out.
It's weird when you have that bond... You end up thinking the same thing, finish each others sentences, & get the same feelings about good & bad things.
I don't fully understand it.
God just works in mysterious ways. & it's great!

Love is caring so deeply about someone or something that you think of them first. That you would do anything to take away their pain. That the smile on their face can change your whole day. Love is committment, not just when you feel like it. Love is treating a person like their feelings are your own. Love is making cookies at 11:00 at night, just because.

When you know someone so deeply that even when they make mistakes, you know that they're a good person and it doesn't matter. When you care about them so much that you'd give up almost anything to protect them, and it tears you apart when you can't. When you don't take credit for the sacrifices you make for them, because the important thing is that they're happy and you know they'd do the same for you. When thier call brightens your day, when thier smile relieves you of all your worries- just for an instant, and being able to turn to them to talk about ANYTHING, about everything. Love is letting them in to know you to your core. It's vulnerable, it's tearful, but you wouldn't give it up for anything because it's yours. It takes a lot of time to build.

Love I'd say is everything. Other than you said, it could also be thinking of yourself. You know this significant other cares for you, which makes you think of yourself more to make better choices. Love is healthy. Love is dancing with hiim/her and realizing during the dance that there's no music playing, only the beat of your heart beats. I'm in love. And this is how i feel.........

Well there are different types of love, but they all involve caring for something deeply.
There are friend loves, familial love, and there is romantic love.
Love can be controlled, developed and lost. Love requires work, effort and maintenance and is not a magical spur of the moment thing.

my first thought was to say that love is undefinable but that is not true because there is so much to say and so much that is said about love.
Love is everything that is definable, its every where and in everything but at the same time it can be absent and void of the exact same thing.
Love is a verb, love is an adjective, love is a noun, love is anything you make it.
Love is just lovely

Love is a diamond
Cold, hard and blue
The buyers are many
The keepers are few
A diamond is love
Costly and dear
Spiritually cloudy
Physically clear
Love is the climate
and diamonds, the dust
That gets in your eyes
When the climate's unjust.

As far as love between family...it is wanting what is best for other people and not just yourself...just being a good sis/mom/dad/etc. Same thing as far as romance...you just want to be with that person...can't stop thinkin about them...and want whats best for them in life.
