playplaces and my 8 year old?

Question

how many times a week do you take your children to playplaces, such as mcdonalds or chickfila? I take my daughter 3 times a month, she loves to mingle and play with other kids in the playplaces...she is 8 years old...i take her with my infant son

In a fast food place?

The play at the one at Chick-fil-a about 6 times a year or so. Whenever they get their hair cut we go there to eat afterwards.

They also get to play at the one in the mall a couple of times per year.

We go to a regular playground at the park a lot when my daughers are taking ballet class. Nearly once a week when her classes are in session.

We live near a school and go to the playground there on weekends or evenings sometimes.

They go to Chuck-e-cheeses or Great Times (better than CEC!) a couple of times per year.

We go to the Children's Museum a lot and the zoo too.

I take my kids to McDonald's playplace once a month- well, that's how 'often' we go there. But I do take my kids to a playgroup within our neighborhood. I believe that it's 'healthy' for their social development. Not only would our kids learn how to interact with other kids (of course, with our supervision as well) but it would also help develop their cognitive and motor skills. Playgroups give an atmosphere of play and fun for kids, as well as learning. I encourage you to check out some playgroups in your community area and do bring your kids there. It would be very beneficial to their growth in the long run. As for your infant son, well, some playgroups or family centres (that have a drop-in program or daycare for kids) do have some toys for tots as well. So I believe that your kids will have a lot of fun in any one of those.

I dont take them to those places. We dont eat that junk and the play areas are filthy.
