I'm seriously interested in the Bible. I've read it a lot of times, i interpret most in my own way, like everybody does.

I've asked a serious question, to which i would really value some input:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AsUoJQnvwEPDwH63RUOeMOvsy6IX?qid=20060801061435AAAigpu
(which gets 4 answers that don't answer the question)

I've also asked, as a test, a few nonsense questions, like this one:

(which gets 60 answers)

Is the average level of Christians on YA this low? I truly hoped it could supply some more normal answers to serious questions. It seems the average level on YA will never get any higher than "read the bible or go to hell".

sad, isn't it?

The logic appears to be: 2 points is 2 points.

I'd like to believe that it represents the idea that, as Mark Twain once said, it's "better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt."

But I've been proven wrong time and time again there...

You must read (Proverbs 3:5-6). I did not try to understand the bible on my own. I ask for help. But if you are serious go to the right people, Teachers, Preachers or even Christians who have a made up mind to serve Christ.

Um I didn't understand the first question you had posted up there so thats why I didn't answer
And a lot of christians feel the need to defend our beliefs(like they did with their answers to the second question) but if they don't know the answer to a question then they will just move on to the next one without thinking it through

1) Yes.

I'm sorry, I wasn't on 4 hours ago. I would have worked on that one for you too as I enjoy your questions. I'm in the same boat though so I try to keep my serious questions short and looking not too serious.
