The laws you are referring too (from what you are calling the OT) are for Jews. Non-Jews only have the seven Noahide laws.

Christians are confused about the laws and their meaning.

For instance they are repeatedly called eternal laws yet they think they are not.

They also seem to think they are too hard when G-d says otherwise.

The Sabbath Law was not revoked, but it was fulfilled by Jesus Christ. All the commandments in the Old Testement are still in effect. In the Old Testement, the only way that a man or woman could be stoned for adultery was if they were actually caught in the act. But now that Jesus Christ has came the Law has actually been taken to another level. Now if you just look at a women lustfully it is adultery and you do not have to be caught in the act. The people in the Old Testement did not have God's inner dwelling of the Holy Spirit. That is why they could not keep the Law of Moses. Now, that Christ has came and given His Holy Spirit to believers, we have power to keep the Laws of God. So now God has a greater expectation from believers to live out His commandments because we have been freed from sin.

You're speaking of apples and oranges in your question.

It was the laws that Jesus Christ fulfilled, not the commandments given by Him to Moses. Circumcision and animal sacrifices are just two examples of laws that were fulfilled by Christ. There are countless others mentioned in the Old Testament, but you get the drift.

There is a vast difference between the Laws of Moses and the Commandments given him by God. So no, you cannot murder or covet your neighbor's wife or anything belonging to him and not take the consequences for those acts.

The Ten Commandments and the two specified commandments given by Christ are just as valid today as they were in Moses' time.

No, no, no!!! Only parts of the Bible matter! You just have to know all the loopholes and interpretations. I'm sure you could find an explanation for abandoning the "no kill" law in there somewhere.

It was replaced with the law of love. If you really love your neighbor, you are not going to do those kinds of things.
