Wow! Someone has discovered what parables are!
Like metaphors only there is only one way to interpret them that is right.

First of all, Jesus never said that stuff. It was written by a freaky apostle on the Isle of Patmos long after Jesus had departed.
And it so happens that some people enjoy reading it. Apparently you're way too normal. So don't read it then. Also you didn't read the whole thing.
What about the huge Holy City that will come down spinning slowly and drifting onto the surface of the earth, and it will be policed by one hundred and forty-four thousand topless angels? I even read somewhere that every day will be Christmas. You skipped over a lot of chapters in there just to make your point, and make Revelation sound bad.

Those are all symbolic. The beast with 7 heads and 10 horns is symbolic of a "religious" system. If you remember (means how you read Revelation), there was, on its head, a little horn, which uprooted 3 of the other horns. The horns represented 10 tribes in Europe that later became countries of Europe (which later became even more countries), The 3 uprooted horns were the tribes: Ostrogoths, Vandals, and the Heruli. The dragon is the same as the little horn. (Refer to Daniel, it has a lot of this prohetic info that will help you understand Revelation). In Daniel 2 King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream that he can't remember but wants to know the meaning of. So Daniel tells him (with God's help). It was a statue. It was composed of: head of gold (Babylon), chest & arms of silver (Medo-Persia), belly & thighs of bronze (Greece), legs of iron (Rome), & feet of iron/clay (divided Rome). The lion of Revelation is the head of gold, Babylon. The bear is the chest & arms of silver, Medo-Persia. It is raised up on one side because the Persians were stronger than the Medes. The three ribs in its mouth were the three countries it counquered (Egypt, Libya, & Babylon). The leopard with four heads & four wings was the belly & thighs of bronze, Greece. The four heads were Alexander the Great's four main generals to which Greece was divided after his death. The wings represent speed. The non-descript beast was the legs of iron, Rome. This is because it was very strong, cruel, & powerful. The lamb you talked about with 7 eyes is symbolic of Jesus (before Jesus died on the cross, people had to present sacrifices of their most perfect lamb [or a pair of turtledoves if they were poor], and Jesus' death on the cross was the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. His death validates those sacrifices, & it means that we don't have to do that anymore). Where it talks about the stars....I do believe you are referring to Rev. 12. The woman represent the church, & the 12 stars were the 12 tribes of Judah. Oh wait...actually, I think you were talking about where the beast (that represents Satan right there) was fighting Michael the Archangel (Jesus) & took a third of the stars of heaven (a third of the angels left Jesus' side & joined Satan's). & they were thrown out of heaven,...to here. Our ancestors (Adam & Eve) sinned, which started all this bad stuff on earth. The 4 beasts around the throne are just creatures from other planets (yeas there are other planets with living creatures). Or maybe you were talking about the 24 elders (also reps from other planets). And God is not a monster. He is my Best friend. :) P.S. John was in exile on the Island of Patmos (for preaching), & the Roman guards knew that he could also write religious stuff to others (which they didn't want), & so, in order for it to get out, he had to write it in code. He also wrote it how it was in the visions he received. :)

Oh good grief. The book of revelations is not literal. for instance a lambe with fire for eyes could be an angry Jesus. Have you not ever said that someone gave you a firey glance?
The the beast with 7 heads and 10 horns is repesentative of the outcast Lucifer. Each head repersents one of the 7 deadly sins. If you are going to read the Bible you need to read the ENTIRE BIBLE not just one book. you've left yourself open to a far fetched interpretation. After all you wouldn't read any regular fiction novel's last chapter and presume you know what happened through the rest of it. (i don't consider the Bible fiction but I'm cutting off your argument)

I can plainly see that even though you may have read the book, you have completely missed what it is saying.
It was written in this type of literature to do the same to the ant-Christian authorities (Romans). So they, and apparently you as well, would not get the true message being sent to other believers.
To make the comments you made only reinforces and demonstrates your own ignorance. Have you ever heard of a "Literary Device" known as Allegory? God Bless you...

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom"
- Psalms 111: 10
God isn't small, expected or able to be contained. Why is your idea of beauty the only definition of beauty? If He wasn't all-powerful with a really powerful SCARY army at his side, why would i trust him to save me? I would rather be protected by those 'monsters' you call angels and God than be against them when the time comes. God is great, and mighty and highly exulted! And he is my savior. i couldn't ask for more!

Well this ranks right down there with the last question you posted on revelations... So how many times have your read this book?
If God doesn't have your soul you still have a lot more to worry about than understanding revelations.

Big Bird has surrounded himself with monsters, too. Why not worship Big Bird? A bit fey, perhaps, but a gentle soul and a loyal friend. Problem solved. Next.

Jesus speaks in many parables in the bible, so if it say's that their was a ten horned dragon. it can mean that their were 10 nations & the dragon was a dictator.
Now are you starting to see what i mean, not all creatures are acually creatures. There are many parables in the bible.

Is Revelations a case of a stolen book? Someone's deep mind study? 7 heads 10 horns--something is humanity's subconscious? "It's headed this way--perhaps we should do something about it"!
