I would want to be upfront. I wouldn't want to scare a man off though.

I WAS IN THAT PREDICTAMENT A WHILE BACK. YOU NEED TO TELL HIM RIGHT AWAY. IF HE LIKES YOU ALL THAT MUCH, HE WILL ACCEPT YOU AND EVERYTHING THAT COMES ALONG WITH IT, IF NOT, THEN AT LEAST YOU KNOW HE WASN'T WORTH IT.....GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

You have to be honest about the child. The divorce info could probably wait until he asks. But don't keep anything from him intentionally. It's best to get those things out in the open as soon a mutual interest is shown. You wouldn't want to waste your time with someone who would get scared away by your child or the truth of your past anyway.

up front as soon as u start talking about urself.. r u embarrassed that u've been divorced and now have a child?? hell ur not asking him to marry u, but he has a right to know because right now if u don't u would be deceiving him.. and that's grounds for dismissal in a relationship that's just starting...

how soon would u want to know if a guy is married/divorced and had children??? it's very simple, ask urself this question and u'll have ur answer...

It's not called scaring a man off. Its called protecting your children. I dated my now husband for about six months before I even mentioned my son to him or him to my son. I would not allow my now husband to come to my apt. unless my son was not present. Hey I would rather hide that from my son than to let him think I sleep with every Tom, Dick and Harry. Hope you get the picture.

Don't wait too long, or he'll wonder what other things about yourself you may be keeping from him.

If he cares about you, it shouldn't matter. If it does matter, he's the wrong guy. Your child is most important while he (she) is young.

The right guy, if this turns out not to be, will come along. Be patient.

When the conversation comes even remotely close to that area, its a good time. And casual, like its no big deal, because really, it is. If he doesn't like it, too bad. He's a douchebag.

Tell him right away. It will give him the option to go further or back out. No harm is done because your just getting to know each other.

tha worst thing in tha world is to build something around it cuz then once u do that then u don't want to leave but then later on u will want to leave cuz udon't know how to deal with kids cuz u said that u will never have any so u might want to ask her first when u start talkin to her

it's better just to tell the guy right off. no secrets. if he really wants to be with you, he'll be willing to marry you and accept the responsibility to help raise your child, if he isn't he wasn't the right guy for you. simple as that.

Umm, immediately. the worst thing in the world is to build a relationship on false pretenses.
