Is the Lord with His Church till the end of time?

I am asking this as The Lord said in the Gospel that He will be with the Church till the end of time and this Church as I understand is referring to the Catholic Church which he himself established with Saint Peter as head (ie the 1st Pope) of His church.

But today there are hundreds of thousands of denominations breaking up from Catholic Church since Martin Luther' time, does that makes the Lord himself a liar? Which denomination is the true church of Christ is it when each teaches it's own set of doctrine? Wouldn't it be a mockery for the Lord when his Church are all disunited. Can anyone please clear my doubts with no offense though. God bless.

Yes, I agreed that the church is made of the body of Christs who are the believers. But separated from the Catholic Church even if u are Christians, you may miss out: the Holy Mass which is the highest form of worship to God, the 7 Sacraments suh as the holy Eucharist, the sacrament of Confession etc, important doctrines such as no divorce, no abortion, how about purgatory, and the love for Mother Mary. If u read about the apparition of our lady at Fatimah in 1917, you will be able to know more about what the Lord thinks about the importance of unity of His body to the Mother Church (i.e Catholic Church). We can't continue to say we love Christ but each leading his own way like lost sheep. The lord has come to gather all his sheeps under his Catholic Church.

Okay, yes, the bible does state that the Lord is with his church until the end. And not to get into a theological debate with anyone, but if you actually read what the BIBLE says about church,you will have a better understanding of what this means.

The bible says the Lord is with his church until the end. The bible also says WE are the temple of God--This means the church is not an organization or a religious group in particular, but what makes up the church is, as Jesus said, are those who desire the Lord above all things, and seek him, and commit their lives not to the SERVICE or RELIGIOUS SECT, named the church, but to a personal relationship with God the father, through Jesus Christ the son.

The catholic church is not the "church", but rather, those who love god, and seek him in spirit & truth, those are the true church. Some may be catholic, some may be Evangelistic, Methodist, or anything else, but who you congregate with does not make you part of the "body of christ" (what Jesus himself calls the church), it is where your personal relationship with God is that determines this.

I believe that the catholic church has had some rough years. With all the sues they had from father's molesting alot of kids. The only doctrine you have to know - is that God sent his only son Jesus to die for our sins. From that blood we are alive today. So, believe in that and you should be safe. Religion is made out of man. Your faith is from God. To believe that that really happen and that one day God will come and this whole world will end. No more suffering. At times we have to go through fire to test our faith. That's why in good and bad we praise the Lord! So, what am try'n to say that all these denominations are they way they are because of what men has done. God directs us in the bible it's up to us to live that life and help the one in need. Who cares from what religiion you come from? If u believe in Jesus then your good. I hope this helps....

OK... Jesus started his Church upon the earth...

but I believe that it ended when his Deciples were all killed and unable to pass along the Priesthood by the laying on of hands...

I believe that well meaning people tried their best to continue the Church... but they did not have the true Priesthood and so did not have all that they needed to guide them...

I believe that Joseph Smith was chosen by God to be a Prophet upon this earth... and as such he was able to restore the Priesthood.

The Lord will be with His people until judgment day, no matter what denomination of church they belong to. I'm pretty sure He has the ability to see past all that and focus on your heart, not your denomination.

OMG! I just finished Revelations and Jesus has surrounded himself with MONSTERS-is this a GOD to worship?
I litterally read this book and found that YOUR GOD has created all manner of beasts with 7 heads and 10 horns and horses with lions faces that breath fire and fire breathing Angels and some of these things have lotsa eyes and heads and wings--and different creatures ride different colored horses and wear psychodelic armor and cast huge dragons that breath fire at the Earth along with the stars in Heaven-and this MONSTER is what YOU WORSHIP? And there is a lamb with fire for eyes (Jesus?) that sits on the right hand of God surrounded by there creatures that sound like they belong in a Star Wars Movie the discription of these things are conveluted and LORD GOD SAVE ME FROM this Monster-and this same God took all These angels and turned them in to horrendous LQQKn creatures with hideous faces and cast them into hell-and the pictures that I see of the suffering going on in Africa of children eating outta cows rectums-and tiny helpless boneless bodies suffering-SAVE ME JESUS' GOD is Ugly

I believe God is referring to any church in which the true words are said - the Whole Bible - not just portion of it!@
