If you find that you can't afford Paxil or Zoloft you may ask your doctor to prescribe Prozac. It is the same class of drug as Paxil and Zoloft and is available generically now, so it is considerably cheaper.

my friend is on paxil and recently lost insurance it costs her over 100.00 a month. she is currently weaning herself off because of the cost. I think it is wrong that people in the USA who need medicine should have to pay such prices, you know it doesn't cost 100.00 to make 30 paxils.we are from ohio

Call the pharmacies and ask around. There are majorly different pricing ranges on the same drug.
Example...I was paying 77.00 for one med at Safeway Pharmacy and found I could get exactly the same thing for 27.00 as Costco Pharmacy.
If it's inconvenient for you to change pharmacies, as yours if they have a price match plan...most do, but don't advertise it. You call around, get the best price, call it back to your pharmacy, they verify it and you get the lowest price, with the convenience of not going to another pharmacy!

If you do not have insurance and are considered "low income" you can go to the public health clinic and often times get a prescription for free.
