How about well-cooked carrot sticks, chunks of banana, unsalted breadsticks, cheese, mini ricecakes, toast and peeled apple. It's best to avoid sweet biscuits and rusks, so then she doesn't get into the habit of expecting sweet things. You could also try cooked pasta shapes, hard boiled egg, bread (but avoid granary or multigrain), ripe avocado and soft, cooked meat, fish and chicken. Hope this helps!

Cheerios is rated one of the best finger foods. It crumbles up, and has the little hole in it, so prevents choking.

my daughter is 11mth's old and from being 6mth's old she has always like toast. She couldnt bite it but would suck it until it was soft. Keep an eye on her though incase she chokes.
