Well, retaliation just, err, ends up with counter-retaliation.
She cheated so you do, so she does something else worse so you counter with blah... Hardly a healthy use of your time, money and effort. Plus it usually ends up with the both of you doing things that will make other people ashamed of knowing you.
You can dump her, if there is nothing left to salvage. It sorta depends on the nature of the relationship, why she cheated and is it part an ongoing problem that is best solved by walking away from it all. A lot of times it is, although if it is the case of she was drunk and stupid and is willing to do whatever it takes to fix "us" (and it is reasonably possible that she is serious in this matter) then perhaps it might be worth the pain of working it out, perhaps even involving couples therapy.

I'd just dump her if I were you. Don't even bother asking why because it'll always be some dumb answer that you won't like. If you decide to stay with her, you will be that controlling/jealous guy because you won't trust your woman at all. More trouble than it's worth. Just get rid of her, learn from it, and press on. There's PLENTY of women who won't cheat on you out there, but you won't find them unless you're single!

Revenge is never the answer. It might be tempting to do what they did to you... but in the end it will make you feel no better. You have to decide if you can ever trust the person again. If you don't think you'd ever be able to forgive... then you should just break up with her. But don't stoop to her level. If you walk away with you head held up high... then she'll regret treating such a classy guy with disrespect later.

Dump her. Revenge is very childish and immature. You don't wanna scoop to that level. You will be better off by yourself and not with someone who cheats on you!
