Pork!

5 Spice Grilled Pork Spareribs
Serves 4

Recipe Ingredients:
4 lbs. Farmer John® Spare Ribs
32.0 oz. Chicken Broth canned or fresh
1 Carrot cut in half
1 Celery Stalk cut in half
1/2 Yellow Onion
Sauce:
1-1/2 Tbs. fresh Garlic finely chopped
1 Tbs. fresh Ginger grated
1/4 cup Yellow Onion finely chopped
1/4 cup Green Onion finely chopped
3/4 cup Ketchup
3/4 cup Honey
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
1-1/2 Tbs. Orange Juice Concentrate thawed
1 Tbs. Toasted Sesame Oil
1-1/2 Tbs. Toasted Sesame Seeds
3/4 tsp. Chinese 5 Spice Powder
3/4 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. White Pepper
Recipe Instructions:
1: Place ribs, chicken broth, carrot, celery, onion in stock pot. Cover ingredients with water and bring to a boil. Then reduce to a simmer and cook for 40 minutes. Remove ribs from pot and allow to cool.
2: In a bowl, mix the remaining sauce ingredients thoroughly.
3: Preheat the grill. Coat ribs with sauce. Place ribs on grill. Cook on both sides, basting often. Grill ribs until char marks appear. Serve.
