Girls are bigger bullies than boys. Girls that age have a low self-esteem, so they try to put down other people so they'll feel better. Since this is an external solution to an internal problem, it doesn't work.
One side note--people judge you by what they see: how you dress, if you're smart, who you hang out with, if you have clean, nice hair, etc.
Their opinion should mean nothing to you, especially since they don't know you. You have to not be codependent and get feelings of your self-worth from them. That's why it's important to have friends and family who care about you. If all those people love you, then the few icky ones must be wrong.

The most important word in your question is 'went'. Others may judge you on that simple fact. They ask 'Why did she go out with him' and 'Why are they not going out again'. Young people can be very cruel and you have to have the ability to roll with the punches. I bet when you see them looking at you, you drop your head. Instead hold it up high - at least you managed to date the hot guy. Look them straight in the eyes and wait for them to say something. Have a clever, smart answer ready such as 'I dumped him, he wasn't really my type'.............

get used to it. The world is full of judgmental people. I am 24 but I look 17. When I was pregnant, people looked at me like I was a dirty little girl who got pregnant by John Doe. I was married before I ever got pregnant. It is just a fact of life that you have to ignore. My second answer--because they are ***holes!

It's highschool, and as you said he's one of the hottest guys in school, that means they wanna be with him too. They think they are better than you, so they are pist*** that you got a better lookin' man than them. Don't worry, if he really likes you, and you really like him it shouldn't matter. As long as your both happy.

That's how society works. Just stand up to them...they don't have any rights to judge you if they don't know you. Just act tough...or even better, tell them that if they make fun of you, why don't they make fun of him? Who asked who out anyway?
