Absolutely. Personally, I find it attractive that a man has a cat for a pet. It shows that the man has a good, sensitive heart.

well yeah it's ok for a man to have a cat. a lot of men do because they work so much that all they really need is someone to come home to that they can pet and enjoy the company of.....cats are the perfect pet because as you said...no walks....they can get fleas but keep a flea killer like frontline on them every month and you won't have that much of a problem. cat's are very low maintanence..all they need is fresh food, water, and clean litter boxes and a few toys, but most of the time they entertain themselves...and they get petted when they want and when they're done they go away to do their own thing some more. i like dogs, but i can't stand things (or people) under my feet all the time anymore than my kids already are.

Yes, as long as you are a devoted pet owner and don't ever abuse them and always show them love and affection they will return it. I have two and the one will always sleep with me and snuggle up into my armpit and he acts so much like a human it surprises me. I have trained my cats so they sit, sit up, beg, lay down, rollover, stay and come on command, and don't under estimate animals they are smarter than people give them credit for, for people are the dumb ones not knowing how to communicate with them. I would take a cat over a dog any day cats are I think are easier to train than a dog.

of course it is Ive known quite a few men that have owned cats they are so easy to take care of and defenitly women pick me upper women love it when they see men owning a cat shows that they have a good side some men think because they are a man they shouldnt own a cat all cats want is love and to be taken care of

It is great for a man to have a cat!! I purrrsonally think of it as being a great point in his favour. Cats have a lot of taste and wouldn't stay with a man who was mean or horrible.
Cats are great company too.
