Even if you could outrun it, (and you can't; the Abrams can go up to 45 mph) they would still be able to blow you and your camel to tiny pieces from over a mile away.

I doubt it, considering an M1 Abrams tank once passed me in my car on the highway, left me behind sucking exhaust. Walked me like I was standing still! Never so startled as when 65 tons of tank blew my doors off!

only one way to find out for sure. I am sure a turbine jet engine screaming and a huge main gun barrell on your six might motivate the camel to move out at a higher rate of speed.
