I take him to the beach often(he loves it), give him ice water constantly, give him ice cubes. He's a 11month old Springer spaniel.

Play with the dog with the hose. My German Shepherd likes to play with the spray from the hose, tries to bite the water like it's a solid object.

A kiddie pool for the dog to splash around in isn't a bad idea either.

if you have a fan that would help, a kiddie pool or a cool bath. plenty of cold water. I know some towns have places people can go to cool off , I would call to see if they would allow you to bring your dog,or may be a relatives or even a friends house would be a good idea.

My Maltese hates water so a kiddie pool is out for him. I keep a lot of fans going and he seems to find the cool spots better than I do

You can put bottles of cold ad frozen water wrapped i a wash rag in thier ad they will sleep by them. if your dog has a spot where he likes to dig let him because thats how they get cool. have him lay i the shade and always have freshwater available. groomiong your dog and less excersize ca help. don't overexcert it. e-mail me for more dog tips.

Keep a fan on, and keep him inside if it's cooler indoors. The beach is a good idea, though. Keeping him wet will help keep him cool. Good luck! -Lella^_^

Set up the sprinkler. My dog loves it. She also likes when I put a nozzle on the hose and spray her.
