regarding soccer dude's answer, sure we have free speech here. Here's how it works:
If you are a conservative and you wish someone a happy 100th birthday and suggest the world might have been different if they'd become president, you have to resign from the senate.
If you are a religious conservative and you have a sincere belief that homosexuality is a sin, you are a bigot. If you say it out loud, you can be thrown out of school, fired by your employer, and probably arrested in some cities.
If you believe in God and want to thank Him for getting you through high school and helping you in everything you've achieved, your microphone will be turned off in the middle of your valedictorian address.
If you are a liberal, you can make any racist, lying, ignorant, america-hating, slanderous, hateful personal remark you want, and your homies will rush to your side and shout "HE SPEAKS TRUTH TO POWER!" or some other trite phrase. Your comments will be lauded in the press forever, ESPECIALLY if it's about the President of the United States. You will never be held accountable in the press or by your liberal peers for the lies, the hate, the personal attacks, or the complete lack of logic in anything you say.
I personally am enjoying the irony that must be vexing those on the left now, who have to condemn Isreal as a terrorist state but have conveniently forgotten that it's populated by Jews, who at last glance were among their protected minorities. If the libs have any capacity for rational thought, this must hurt their heads.

Because if we were outraged and rioted in the streets and tore up stuff like a bunch of rag head extremists, then we wouldn't be any better than they are.
I do wonder why Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton hasn't come to Condi's rescue.

Its obvious that this incident has been buried in the media for one reason or another. I can say that I wouldnt allow our president to show that kind of disrespect to her without retribution, let alone the person that would draw such a cartoon.

First, Condaleeza Rice is a highly educated, greatly experience diplomat. She is above responding to such sophomoric nonsense. Others, even some of her own descent, are too ignorant to notice. Others of us just consider the source.

Hurray for newbie and spiritwalker great answers. Also most African-Americans are libs. They do not seem to realize that we have more blacks in high office now than at any other time.
