Me and my boyfriend have been together 4 almost a year and i really love him and want to spend the rest of my life with him. We got into an argument and he said he knows he can do better than me but he still wants to stay with me. it hurt to hear him say that tho :( wat should i do?

in one of my classes a teacher brought in some of his sonnets

the guy on 29 is the type of guy that feels inferior to all men
so he feels like if he is a lucky guy to atleast have a gf
so he loves her and tells her al types of sweet things
but the guy on 109 he is a verry honnest guy like your boy friend
he tellls her the truth about every thing but also loves her and wouldnt trade her for the world u know what i mean
your bf preatty mutch ashured u that if some other attractive bimbo wanted to fool around with him he would turn her down because he loves u

It is completely normal. After 4 years people know each other so well that when they actually realize all the negatives and positives they realize omg. What have I done, but the time they spent together didn't go anywhere. They still love each other. I suggest you dont' take it personally. I think he said it because he was mad and he wasn't thinking. Love can overcome any obstacle. I do not suggest you break up with him. Tell him to come over and talk everything out calmly. Good luck!

This is not something someone would say just like that. Perhaps this notion has been running around in his head, and then you had a fight, and the secrets of his mind were revealed.
Dump him before he dumps you.
Oh! I forgot you love him. Well hang on, and hope for the best, but prepare for worst. This means he might still go for the next hot babe he manages to impress. But 4 years is way too long for a stopgap arrangement.
The length of your relationship might guiltify him into not breaking you heart, but I doubt.
And I think, He might not be the one for you. He'd never say something like that. If he lovd you that is.

sweetie, he is not the one. a real man would never say something that would be so hurtful.I have a gut feeling that if he said that he is either cheating or will cheat. you deserve someone who thinks you are the best, and would not even think of leaving. Dump him and tell him good luck. You are not an object of convenience...and if he thinks he can do better..then do it. I think you can do better..especially if he says such hurtful things in the heat of an argument...

deep down in your heart do you know if he meant it? if you think for even a second that he meant it then leave him because you can do better than him.
