And information on Cicken Pox:

Now- chiggers:
http://www.surviveoutdoors.com/emergency/chigger_bites.asp
And the thing you have to remember about chiggers, is it is most likely that you would get hem on your ankles, hands and wrists. Dont pick up moss from the ground- chiggers live in moss that is on the ground. Moss in trees is safe, though.

Anyways, if its SPREADING, then it is most likely chicken pox or something.
There is also more than one strain of Chicken pox, and it would be hard to tell if you were around someone who had it, and maybe had pox hidden under their clothes or something. Its VERY infectious.
Good Luck

What a Chigger Bite Looks and Feels Like
If a person gets bitten by a chigger, the bite will be very itchy. A chigger bite will cause a tiny red bump, which will get bigger and itchier as time goes on.
What Is Chickenpox?
Chickenpox is caused by a virus called varicella zoster (say: var-uh-seh-luh zas-tur). People who get the virus often develop a rash of spots that look like blisters all over their bodies. The blisters are small and sit on an area of red skin that can be anywhere from the size of a pencil eraser to the size of a dime.
You've probably heard that chickenpox are itchy. It's true. The illness also may come along with a runny nose and cough. But the good news is that chickenpox is a common illness for kids and most people get better by just resting like you do with a cold or the flu. And the really good news is that, thanks to the chickenpox vaccine (say: vak-seen), lots of kids don't get chickenpox at all. Kids who do get it, if they got the shot, often get less severe cases, which means they get better quicker.

Try taking some clear nail polish & putting it over one of the spots. If after a little while it stops itching then it's most likely just a chigger bite. If you are still unsure, definitely wait for the doctor cause they may have you or your child (whichever has the spots) come in for an exam to determine.

chicken pox are bubbly blisters, chigger bites look like small mosquito bites and spread averywhere really fast. Quick way to get rid of chigger bites is by putting rubbing alcohol on them. It stings, but dries out the skin and they go away.

Chicken pox will eventually erupt like a pimple but bigger. If you have ever had them before, then no, you only get them once. Are you around any kids that go to day care or kids that have chicken pox? then probablly.

Chicken pox spread and they look like round pimples and itch like craziness..........
Chiggers are usually just in one spot even if not they're substantially smaller and they look more like flea bites...........
