Tomorrow (8/2/06) is you AND your dad's birthday.
You haven't gotten a gift yet.
You have $11.
You have until it's dark out to get one (about 8:30 PM this evening).
What to do?

What does he like? Surely you can pick up a bottle of wine or something nice like that from the shop.
My dad's a very strict, strong man but is marshmallow on the inside - I don't think I've ever BOUGHT him a gift but I've made him lots of things over the years - cards and every time I wrote him a poem I could see his eyes welling up a bit (as hard as he tried to hide it).
It's a tough one and I don't know what your relationship is like. Maybe take him out for a drink or go bowling or adventure golfing or something? Spend some alone time with him and do something special (that you don't do every day).
PRESENTS WILL BREAK/GET LOST OR BE FORGOTTEN BUT MEMORIES LIVE FOREVER!

u only have 11 bucks? write a meaningful card and explain the gift is so great it wasnt finished so it had to be postponed then save up ur money and buy something nice. like a gold watch.

I hope you are a child... because shame on you if your dad's birthday is here and you havent made any plans, or saved any money. How would you feel if your dad said ''oops'' about your birthday.

If you had about 20 more dollars you could take him out to eat to a buffet. that is what I do for my mom, when I have the money. If I knew you I would let you borrow some.
