sometimes all it takes is talking. have you ever told your dad to stop drinking? maybe you should do that.

Your father drinks to suppress the emotions he is feeling - to put in bluntly, to escape. Is he the type of dad you can be open to and talk about this? Perhaps you should tell him how you feel and that you need him and his drinking is putting extra pressure in the house.

No matter how low you feel honey, you HAVE to study. Grades are so important, especially if you want to get away from what's happening there now by finding a good paying job (from which you can take care of your parents) and moving into your own place.

When you say you and your father prepare food for everybody (at least he's in a position to help with that), how many people? Why can't they lend a hand? Try look for a Microwave cooking book - you get some really nice recipes in there and they're quick and easy to make.

Don't let yourself get so down, when you feel you're getting down or you feel angry, focus on something else - perhaps put some of your favourite music on and dance/sing to it until you feel better and then go study.

Can you perhaps go study at a friend's or a library?

My heart goes out to you x

Lots of respect to you! You seem to be a strong and dedicated person and will make it far. These times you are going through are though and I have been through similar. All they do is make you tougher and stronger. You learn to cope with things in life and make other situations a walk in the park.
What ever you may do stay focused on your studies, and help where you can with your family. You should talk to someone and have them help you with your tasks and just so you have a shoulder to cry on. Talking about something helps a lot. You should have a small get a way on the weekend or something to completely get your mind off everything. Got to the beach, pool, movies,... anything you like to do to get a way.
I am sure you will make it no matter what is through at you.

Be happy and suck up the hard times
Greg

See if you can stay with a friend or something for a while. You probably just need a break. I know how you feel, it isn't easy living with someone with a drinking problem, it really makes life a living hell. E-mail me if you need to chat, I can't help but feel for you, I just got myself out of the same situation.

connect a gymnasium and initiate determining. It does wonders for emotional wellness. seek for a sliding value scale counseling provider and take your self for inner maximum counseling. between the interesting issues that married human beings each so often do is arise with a catalogue of issues that their companion is "think" to be doing for them that they are not. this is a thank you to grant the companion a failing grade in spite of what they think of they are offering. you have experienced previous melancholy and, regrettably, it is not your husband's job to scientific care that and forestall your melancholy from returning. this is something that in the time of basic terms you're able to do. So, on your wellness, happiness and marriage... please take the stairs you need to take to get you back to wellness.

can you get away for a day or two? it helps to remove yourself from the chaos. Parents arent always understanding (even though everyone will say talk to your dad about his drinking), so we have to take care of ourselves and let others take care of themselves. even if you go to the library to study, you have to do whats good for YOU so you dont repeat the same mistakes of your parents
