Like restaurants make displays with food... what do they put on the food so it doesn't go bad?

Believe it or not, some of it is plastic. There are companies out there that specialize in "fake" foods (google it). In the case of breads, those are usually real but as you know bread hardens as it gets older when it's left out in the air and finally some of it is shellacked.

I think the displays at restaurants are made from wax. At least that's what somebody told me once.

Usually food on display and on commercials is made of plastic.

i saw a report on tv once about it. it is actually an art and made out of painted plastic

I don't know but I wish I could find it so that I could get rid of it from my moms kitchen.

most of the food is acutally wax, or plastic, but they do have preservatives that can preserve things such as things in museums, idk what it is
