Do most guys have that "asian fantasy"? if so, after it's fulfilled, do you just move on to your next "fantasy"? i'm tired of not knowing it i'm liked b/c of the japanese or me. but i feel like just a "fantasy" at times.

Have any of the guys you've dated *told* you it's just because they have an "asian fantasy"?
From my experience as a guy (which I've been my whole life), I know that men generally are attracted to particular physical characteristics. (This happens before issues like brains, character, compatibility, spirituality, or any of the other not-immediately apparent things become noticeable or important.)
Some of my male friends prefer women who are skinny, others like larger women; some like redheads, others brunettes; some like whites, other blacks. Some like Asians. Some like other guys.
But I've never known a white guy who had been dating an Asian -- or any other physical type -- and then dumped her because he had fulfilled his "Asian fantasy."
If you're dating a non-Asian, and if you feel uncomfortable that he's only dating you because you're Japanese, is it possible that your discomfort shows somehow and has a negative effect on the relationship?

Unfortunately, there are a lot of men who have that "Asian delight" fantasy. Thru movies, media and word of mouth. I'm sorry, you just can't get away from it. And yes most of them do move on, not neccesarily to a new fantasy though. It can be a good thing if you turn it around. As it will enable you to pick and choose whom you want to date, with no end of available men. You will also be able to know what kind of man you have... Don't use it as a weapon, but use it to determine who is right for you..

Most guys do not have the "Asian fantasy", However for some it is a fetish and a challenge. If you feel you are being "Just" a fantasy and not respected for who you are then its time for a change in lovers.

A few years ago, if somebody had asked me if I thought Asian girls were attractive, I would have said no, not at all. Please don't construe that statement as me saying all Asians look the same.
Then I moved to Asia. It didn't take long before I started noticing how beautiful Asian ladies are. For me it was Chinese. I was very surprised with myself.
I now live in Canada again, but nothing turns my head like long black hair, almond shaped eyes, and the beautiful skin. I don't know what kind of experiences you've had, but it doesn't sound like you've had good ones.
For me personally, it's not a fetish, I had just never noticed how beautiful you ladies are. I saw your pic by the way, and I think you're beautiful.

I've known guys for whom it was a fantasy, but in the end they ended up with their soulmate. So if the fantasy gets you there, its ok, as long as the hearts in the right place when it matters.
I guess the real question is when does something move from a matter of taste to a fetish?

I think some guys do have that fantasy. As for me, I have always found Asian women to very sexy. I've slept with Asian woman more than any other type, because they turn me on.

Men are just pigs. And between you and I(and whoever the hell else reads this) most guys have the whole Asian chick fantasy for two reasons (A) they're suposed to be tighter and (B) the whole slave thing. I love asian women... i admit ... but to me, it isn't a fantasy.
I don't want a trophy... i want what I consider "sexy" or what turns me on.
I wont deny that other men just want to put another notch in their belt, for them it must be that the grass is greener on the other side, or some "fantasy" of subserviants doing everything their sick minds can imagine.

I say it would depend on the person - some men are attracted purely out of fantasy but some love the look. Me I never let a look drive me for any reason. Now grant you I am a human and male and pretty girls are nice to look at. but for me she better be much more than looks to get any more than a glance. But regardless of the nationality for me means nothing.

No. Its not just a fantasy (to me anyway). Asian women are beautiful. Plus they are usually petit. Makes it easier to do things in bed! LOL.
