I have a nephew and he takes several different medications. I looked on the internet about these medications and some of them are not suppose to be taken together. If they are taken together they can cause his mental disability, because they will counter-act with each other. I printed this information out. It was shown to the Doctor and he still did nothing. My nephew seems to be getting worse instead of better. He keeps saying he wants to kill himself. I usually know how to handle things like this, but I don't know exactly what to do about this? I need to know how to help my nephew and what to do about this Doctor!

Whatever you do....please take them seriously when they say that. I had a very dear nephew of mine that committed suicide this last February. He was only seventeen years old and he too was on a couple of different medications. Seek a "Second Opinion" from another doctor before it becomes too late. It is such a horrible thing to have to lose someone to suicide. Especially....a child. In one minute he was here and in a split second he was gone from our lives....forever. You just never know what these kids hold in their hearts anymore and "pain" it leaves behind.

Your more than welcome to e-mail me: daka1116@yahoo.com
I would be glad to help in any way I can.

He NEEDS to get a new doctor. If a doctor is being irresponsible, you need to find another doctor dor a second opinion.

Not only that, but if the info you found online is correct, then this current doctor can possibley be sued for malpractice. So do some research on this, and be sure to find another doctor before it gets even worse....good luck.

psych meds affect everyone differently. some combinations of meds work for some not for others. we've established that you need a new doctor, but check with the pharmacist. they know what counteracts what so ask them. it's apparent that the meds aren't working. antidepressants should help if the right one is found but often the right one has failed due to a too low dose. i tried them all--30mg this and that--and ended up changing doctors and taking 300mg of one that worked wonders!

I think your Nephew will be doing lots better and getting cured instead of worse on Homeopathic Medicines which have no side effects and complications and are prescribed according to the patients symptoms not against them.
Take care and God Bless you !

Get second and third opinions. Find another doctor and have them look it over. Maybe if you have friends who are doctors, they can look over your nephews case for free.

alright...first of all you need to find him a new doctor...then contact a lawyer who can help you because this doctor is not operating his business correctly...if your nephew goes any further in hurting himself...then definetly sue the doctor.
