Totally depends on the vet. Call Spay-USA to get a discount certificate to a real vet; they're a great service!

I work part-time as a receptionist at a vet clinic and it really varies from vet to vet. You should call to get an estimate. It can vary widely depending upon the age of your dog and several other factors. Just call around and ask them to give you an estimate.

that depends on:
1. where you live
2. what vet you go to

call around and get prices. also call the SPCA or Humane Society and see if there are any spay/neuter programs in your area.

cost me $45 dollars for a mini dachshund at 10lbs.
my medium sized dog...at 55 lbs. cost me $65 dollars.
my largest cost $80.

My Rottie at 50 lbs. would have been about $100. But I waited til he was 65 lbs. so it was $130 at a well respected Vet.

Prices may be higher or lower where you are, and it may depend on age too. But check around and you may luck out at under $100 for that weight. Don't wait if he's old enough.

I just had mine done last Thrusday. . She is 24 pounds. it cost $90.Total..It would have been $35 more if she was over 8 years old.
the low cost program here would have been $45..so I figure it is half priced.

Oooops! You said 'neuter', not spay...sorry...neuter costs less.

Edit: Just called my vet..$72 here.

Check with your local rescues several have spay neuter programs to help offset the cost. The priority being the spay and neuter your pet.

Each vet is different, they don't do the cost by the weight I think. So call around to different vets and ask them prices.

Depends on where you live. Call around. Vets will give you a general idea over the phone.

Call up the local Humane Society. In my area they have coupons to "regular" vets who take the coupon and the price is much cheaper. Not sure if they offer this is you area, but try it.
