Whoa! What did I just say? Men are more attractive?!? I said men are NATURALLY more attractive. Look at the Peacock, beautiful feathers while the peahen is brown. The Lion has a large wonderful mane while the lioness has none. Even the gorilla has a decorative white strip down his back. The male needs to be more attractive because in nature the female is in charge of who she mates with. Why are humans the opposite and why is my wife angry at me for it? I wasn't the first woman who refused to let the man go back into the wild so he could mate with another woman (hence creating a scarcity of men). I wasn't the first woman who crushed up berries in order to apply eye make-up. Why do I get her wrath?

I am not actually talking about my life, I am talking about how the mating structure is in animals, where females control most of it and the males are the ones who have be on parade and prove their worthiness. I am sure humans were like this at one point so how did the tables get turned?

you know you and every man thinks this everyday and you guys are all the same, we woman have to do, for our beauty, to get you dummy's to look and want to get with us. and then you dumb men complain when we take the time to keep it up, and think you look better than us you have got to be kidding! Mister your mother, gave you life, your wife puts up with your degradeing her, she wants to keep you happy, you sound like a man who will be unfaithfull to her and beat her just because. we are not in the wild you door nob. grow up and do right by your wife and get with the program. its called MARRIAGE!

PREACH ON BROTHER! absolutely right, men don't wear makeup, they don't get acne breakouts like women (well, i don't...*thanks God*) and, they are made to attract the opposite sex. I'm not chauvinistic or anything, but I see what you're saying: A man takes half an hour to get ready, a woman takes two hours, yet the man looks more naturally attractive afterwards without the globs of makeup and awkward hair dos. But I'm not saying that 2 hrs is not worth it...women look super nice when they make themselves up, so take ur wife's bickering with a grain of salt. She's not mad at u, just a lil self-conscious. Men are not naturally more attractive. If they were then there would be strip clubs for women all over instead of only a few. Whereas men are more then happy to look at a naked woman even if she is bald and has on no make-up. You got her wrath because you said something so stupid. You might want to apologize and try again.

You are a s h i t distrurber, that is why she is upset with you! You are funny! I don't understand why it takes some women so long to get ready myself and it is irritating and, I am a woman. I have a sister that used to get up at 5:30 to get ready for work, when she didn't have to be in until 8:30! Why - she worked in a meatroom for God's sake! It never ceases to amaze me.
As far as men being naturally more attractive, you are, in part correct. You are more correct that society as a whole has made it the woman's place to look as attractive as she can and yet we are not as picky about all of you, and I am not sure why that is...programming probably.

I understand where you are coming from. You're trying to say that some guys are naturally good looking meaning we don't have to apply any make-up or use lip stick to or tweak our eyebrows. Believe me podnuh your wife knows what she has and she is just giving you the business because thats what women do. Then again let her take two hours cause I know you wouldn't want her coming out the house looking any old kind of way!!!!

its called grooming, its what we do, you'd be the first one to point out of a chick looks bad, and when it comes to mating, the female lets out a scent to let males know she is ready to mate, (since you want to use animals) but women go through the same ritual, you have a funny way of thinking about it. Just let your wife have her time, tell her the time she is supposed to be ready ahead of time, and you get ready 10 or 15 minutes before that time

Personally I don't know why women take so long to get ready. I don't agree that men are naturally more attractive than women. As far as I can figure we just don't care as much.

OK men normally don't care about their appearance as much as women do i don't know why but men just throw on clothes and go but women and women have to put on makeup do their hair and just get ready she has a reason to be mad

I think the reason she gets mad is because you don't know anything about women, and would probably benefit from keeping your mouth shut sometimes. When us girls get ready, it is usually the only time we get to ourselves. I personally love getting ready. If she is spending 2 hours getting ready, she is probably trying to look her very best. Aren't you glad she upkeeps herself? If she didn't, you would tell her she let herself go and needed to do something about it. She is probably upset because she spends all that time and effort to look nice, and you don't appreciate it. Maybe try telling her she looks nice once in a while.

Because she has insecurities about her appearance...probably nothing to do with you...I can shower, shave, get dressed, fix my hair, and put on makeup (full face) in less than 20 mintues. Either she hasn't quite got the knack of it yet, or she's insecure and she subconsciously thinks that the time spent (effort) will over-ride her, probably subconscious, inadequacies.
