I don't know what Islam has to say about it, but I'm a Christian and I see no reason not to get to know a Muslim.

It is true that you probably should not befriend a non-muslim person especially Christians and Jews. What if they converted you? Your family wouldn't like that at all but at least you would discover that not all religions are about hate and violence. If you converted them into Muslim faith than their families who already dislike Muslims a lot would not be to thrilled. So as a Muslim, you should be careful who your friends are maybe someone who isn't so crazy about religions.

People put way too much into religion. You should be friends with whoever you want to be friends with.

Its particularly stupid to see Jews, Christians and Muslims fighting because when you examine them you see that they all use the same Old testament and they all believe relatively the same thing.

Jews believe that the messiah has not come, Christians believe that it was Jesus and Muslims believe that it was Mohammad. The world would be much better if we stopped looking for something to save us and started saving ourselves.

Imagine that there's no god, no allah, no afterlife, no deity to judge you after you die. It's beautiful isn't it.

If the world would just leave the theocratic cage that it is locked in people would live much better lives.

Says who?

This is the problem with religion in the world today.

It cannot be an "Us vs. Them" attitude.

There is nothing wrong with having a Jewish or Christian or Catholic or Muslim or Pagan friend.

The parable about the Good Samaritan is that Samaritans had a bad rap. A good Samaritan was rather rare. But he transcended the stereotype.

You can transcend those aspects of your faith that OKs treating other people badly as they are not of the faith. (Want an eye-opener? Read Leviticus, Chapter 21.)

If you cannot consider the person as a person, instead of sticking on labels (Jew, little people, conservative, tree-hugger, etc. etc., etc.) then we are all in deep trouble.

As a Muslim, why are you ASKING US?

Are you trying to say you DON'T KNOW WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A MUSLIM?

Why are you a Muslim if you don't know anything about your religion.

Muslims hate Jews and Christians, and anyone who is not Muslim. It's in your Koran. Go read it.

Stupid right? Yeah, it's stupid.

No, I have friends that are Muslims and I am not a Muslim. We talk about our beliefs without judging each other. It is easy to be friends with people in all different religions all you have to do is keep an open mind and an open heart.
