No didn't see it but i've heard similar stories before. He is right, they are being sent to fight for a lie. For everyone who says those who are against the war are against the soldiers i say grow up, even the soldiers dont want war.

I did not see that clip on CNN, but I think people who are against this war need to collect video clips like this that show that not all US soldiers agree with the merits of this war. The right wing badgers the viewing public with orchestrated documentaries and film footage of how enthusiastic some soldiers are concerning the Iraq war. Granted there are soldiers that are adamant about the value of being in Iraq. However, I suspect much of these men fall into two camps. One they are just gun ho about fighting, regardless of the moral nature of the conflict, two they are in parts of Iraq that are relatively tranquil and are therefore only being utilized for humanitarian aid, thus they don’t have to really experience the horrors of war.

I think by antiwar proponents having their own storehouse of film footage showing that numerous soldiers are against the administrations policies, we can have a greater chance of convincing America that this war maybe an act in futility. After all, who could lend more credence to the notion that Iraqi occupation is a misguided effort than those who participate in it.

Didn't see him, but he guaranteed himself a profound beating by his fellow Marines, a court martial for questioning the uniform chain of command, and, undoubtedly a dishonorable discharge which will haunt him for the rest of his life.

If wanted out of the Corps, he should have just kissed a man. Sure, he still would have had the crap beaten out of him by the other Marines, but he probably could have spared himself the dishonorable discharge.....

Can we say busted? Speaking against the War is an unpardonable sin in the military. I know. I was never written up about speaking out against it, I was told not to do it. He's gonna get reprimanded for it.

I think I'll call it the Vietnam Syndrome, the war that became a lie and now Iraq, the war born of a lie!
