Hi, this is complicated so try and keep up. I went out with a girl for a few months and in my mind it was going great. She broke it off because of various reasons like not wanting to ruin the friendship etc. We're now good friends and spend a lot of time together, people are always asking if we're back together because we're always flirting etc.
The other night we were in a bar when her ex boyfriend walked in, she couldn't stop staring at him and afterwards I asked if she wasn't over him, she's not. Now this guy was a real jerk to her and treated with no respect, he cheated on her and broke her heart.
I've now fallen out with her because it's the only way I can think to show her how foolish shes being. I really don't get girls that fall for jerks and turn away nice guys like me, I'm not being big-headed but I know how to treat a girl.
So my question is what should I do? I'd love to give it another go with her but nothing seems to be working and now we're not talking. Advice?

Sounds like even though he was a jerk, she's still hooked. I would suggest you let her know you care and are waiting for her(if you want) But stop hanging out with her until she is ready to move on, unless you are willing to risk your heart getting hurt. I went out with a man who was still hung up on his ex-wife. I thought given time, he would see how good I was and how good my love for him was....yadda yadda yadda..After over 7 years, I am now sitting home alone and he still has the exact same hang up on his ex. And she treated him BAD! So, That why I say let her know you care and to call when she has moved on past the 'bad guy' Some women just like that 'bad boy' kinda style!

I think girls seem to go for the jerks unstead of the nice guys cuz its a feeling of some thing they cant have. Just like guys. they go crazy when they see a girl they know is out of their reach. Um.. Now its your choice to take this advice or not. Dont hold me against any thing. Try being a little more mean to her. Treat her almost the same as her ex does. Maybe then she'll see what you mean and get your point. Hell, it might even make her want you more.

Women like jerks because in their hearts they think that they can be the one to change them. Plus every guy is not a jerk to all women...people only get away with what others allow them to do. Always remember no woman wants a YES man, it sounds like you are one of these guys. As far as your ex, kick it with her but holla at other girls when you go out so she can see what she had. She's either gonna get jealous and try to win you back or she's gonna play y the friend role and tell you that chick is hot or something. If you really want to check her temperature to see if she still wants you, ask her to fix you up with a hot friend or co-worker of hers....this will let you know where you stand.

you need to quit wasting your time and energy on a girl that doesn't want you and go find one who does. start sifting thru them until you find one you really like that wants you also.
stop being involved with this situation.
