Just be happy with yourself. When I was 14, I weighed the same and with the same height. Alright, don't starve yourself. Make sure you eat the whole day, but stay away from anything that isn't going to be on the food pyramid like; regular cola and any junk. Eat your vegees( that's hard for teens, so eat a lot of salads with grilled chicken). Stay away from the dressings for those salads. Remember your dairy needs. Girls your age require up to five servings of milk or dairy a day. Stick to the non-fat milk and low fat cheeses. Don't eat yogurt unless it's sugar free(too much sugar turns into fat in the body). Be careful of carbs. Stick to whole grain breads. Exercise! Oh, and look up sample diet plans on the internet, your bound to find something. Look up ediets, the Glycemic Index diet worked for me. Good luck!

OK. First of all don't starve yourself. We don't want you to turn anorexic.
You need 30 min to an hour of exercise a day. Try walking, bicycling, swimming, or if you are a member of a gym you could treadmill, bike, eliptical, etc.. You could also get an exercise video and do one that looks interesting, but will get your heartrate up.
You should also cut your caloric intake some. Try switching chips for crunchy veggies (carrots, celery, peppers, cucumbers, etc.) Try switching sweets like cakes for fruit. Another easy way to cut calories is to not drink pop and switch to water. You should aim to drink 8 glasses of water a day. If you don't like the taste of water they make those great things by crystal light that you can mix into a water bottle.
These things aren't hard, but require discipline. You may also ask your mom or dad to try to help you by not buying so many things that are fattening. That way you are developing a lifestyle instead of just dieting for the now. You will keep the weight off better if you try to make this life changing. Also the support of family helps.
Good Luck

Hi,
I would recommend checking out the South Beach Diet from the library and follow it, if not just stay away from sugar and sugar producing foods. In phase 1 of South Beach (which last two weeks) that's what you do and you lose around 15 pounds. You eat lean meats and all veggies except potatoes. No fruit, nothing with any sugar. Look on labels and see if there are any grams of sugar. For your sweet tooth stick to sugar free hard candies, the soft ones have too much fat. Good luck!

Create an excersize program for yourself. Go on walks, jog, play sports with friends, etc.
Cut the following foods out of your diet: pizza, white bread, soda, sugar cereals, candy, apple juice, ice cream, frapachinos, fast food and french fries.
Eat more fruits and vegetables, whole grain breads, and low fat milk instead. Drink water and only 100% fruit juices, but not more than 3 or 4 glasses a day because they have a lot of sugar.
Don't go hungry, just eat more healthy foods. You will feel great.
Also, remember that you are growing so you may not fit into your old clothes any more.

Cut down your eating but don't starve yourself. Eat veggies and fruit for snacks if you are hungry. Cut out mayo, butter, salad dressing and be prudent about eating deserts and candy. But most important, exercise. Do 30 minutes of exercise a day and by the time school starts you'll look great. You only need to lose a few pounds and this is the only way to do it. What else do you have to do on your summer vacation -- why not make yourself look great!

You really don't weigh that much. Set up an exercise routine for yourself. Do something in the morning and night and then do a more ambitious activity on the weekend. Also make sure that you are not eating junk food. Good Luck and remember to love the way you look!

start eating 3 small meals a day, and a healthy snack in the afternoon instead of snacking all day... go walk, jog, ride a bike for a little while in the evenings when its not so hot... drink more water... I know it sounds corny.. but on Fit TV.. Denise Austin does a daily workout.. it helped me shape up in a few weeks.. but exercise is gonna be your best bet.. just be safe in this hot weather
